@damon180 How often would you say the hail driver freezes people? (with no freeze resist: no skolver, snarby, or Skelly)

I am curious, because I'm going to try out an over kill plan based off if freezing. :)

@NeoHCgbz I honestly dont even use it anymore. After a point you just have trouble with the skolver/rapier clones with low ping, and they all have huge freeze resistance.

@GrandDrop I actually started using a polaris in my strategy, mainly to push guards off of points (it chips their shield pretty well) and to expose sneaky recon. Umbra is still my choice for pure damage.

Can't say i use polaris in clockworks often, as you said it's very anti-social, and sometimes ends up knocking enemies back into me. Better to have control I think.

Im going for shadowsun for max dmg, as ASI is almost useless. Storm driver vs nova (for both pvp and pvm?)

@GrandDrop I use the hail driver in pvp because it freezes people for a free hit from a swordsmen (helping the team). In clockworks I was lucky enough to get a nova with dmg vs construct very high, so i can charge 1 shot a turret with 3 or less people in the party. It's up to personal style, but I'd rather do more damage :)

Shadowsun plus two med damage trinkets for max damage. Don't have a catalyzer, and just started using Polaris in my strategy.  Still love the Umbra and Hail drivers :)

if you wanna get to damage cap, use catalyzer. 10 charge shots+1 normal shot=INSTANT DEATH
