Some of you are apparently dicks! This guy is trying to impart information that could be beneficial to those like me who are in the process of making a decision. At this point I have no reason to discount the possibility of me buying this guitar, As a matter of fact it encourages me to lean towards purchasing this model.
appreciate the info , but w/ 2 parts would like to of heard a bit more of the guitar, and a bit less talking...also there was a annoying overtone that was heard most of the time when you did play the guitar, i wonder what it was..maybe a flaw in design, it was sort of a pinging, or maybe it reminded me of striking a metal pole,w/ a blunt piece of metal, might have been a flaw in the nut, where the string
is channeled thru, that it was not seated properly, anyone hear it.? high "a" tone
UGh, too much reverb plugged in. In my mind you should have just enough reverb to make it sound rich and fine but not enough that it's overwhelming.
When you were talking about the Taylor factory I thought you were gonna say they give free samples! Lol! Martin's got a good tour too, and they practically invented the acoustic guitar, every guitarist should check their factory out.
guitar sounds great miked live... but plugged in it loses al the great sound.. but most guitars do that.. if it didn't have the expression system it would sound even worse i am sure... but my point is..if the guitar souds so much better miked up, why spend 400 bucks for the expression system. i mean if you'd buy a new one..
Fantastic sounding guitar! I just got a Taylor GS8 with Spruce and Rosewood. Can you please tell me what strings you're using in this video? I love that high end clang and complexity that you're getting. The Elixirs that came with mine are not getting that tone.
I have a GS5 myself, got it a year ago. It is a great guitar. Only regret is that I have an aftermarket pickup (volume only). I would upgrade, but i hate the thought of someone cutting a hole in it-you do a great job-thanks
WOOOW :O what u've played at the beggining is acutally a real song anf if it is can u pls tell which one is it? and if its not u better make one:))...its god-like:D :X <3
forgive the stupidity but this an acoustic guitar, that means it has steel chords? ....and the classical one has nylon chords?....and which one du u guys prefer and do u recomand for beginners? sry for bad english
in my opinion i think learning classical as a beginner is abit boring, but i hear alot of famous guitarsits started out with classical. for strings and stuff, i started on acoustics with steel strings for awhile, now im on electric =D
A nylon guitar is an acoustic as well.. It just got.. Acoustic, like sound coming out from it ;) An electric guitar don`t have much sound coming out unless it is plugged in. A nylon is good for beginners cause of the soft strings.
David, you make all guitars sound good. BUT Taylor guitars are truly excellent. I have a Taylor 714ce-coa, Gibson Songwriter Deluxe & Martin 000-28ec which are all beautiful sounding instruments. I cannot decide which I like best.
Hi - you can watch a video of me playing with my band at my band website - my band is Leo Rising and the site is myspace dotcom slash Leorising - ausio samples and pics also
Rockon, tell me about the neck. I'm an older guy and suffer a little joint pain. My hands are sort of small as it pertains to wide fret position.

u should start with electric because the strings are lighter and you can learn more in a shorter space of time

Nice guitar! I miss the extra bass of a solid Martin though. I don't think Taylor's have as much.
