Everyone talks shit about new green day just because they have a different sound now. Bands change and if they didn't experiment and try different things there music would get stagnant and boring. Plus they are now in there late 30's and have different inspirations and experiances to write about.

Although I doubt Green Day will fully return to the Kerplunk/Dookie era roots, but I do hope they'll have atleast one or two songs on their next album that'll bring memories back.
