  • Wow, some awesome pictures! Also, did you guys learn any of the languages or was it reasonably easy enough to get around with just the basics? Thanks for the vid<3

  • @xoKatjaPetrea Thank you, no 2 month were too short to learn a language, it was fine to speak english. Just some basics in Thai, but not much^^

a quick question how mch time did you spend in each place and how much did you guys spend roughly was it like cheaping it or are yo guys just really well off?

  • @jakamoo1990 Dunno exactly, but spend around 2-5 days in a place I guess. Can remember how much we spend but we tried to keep it low budget. (Partying is expensive though^^)

  • @xTsyx ohh ok cool yer i know its hard to keep track of what you spend :p i just meant roghly like $5000 or summin like that

  • @mica13able haha it will be the time of ur life :D just enjoy your time there and enjoy life

  • Thailand: like heaven, love it! Snacks is fantastic either. But almost everything there costs an arm and a leg :(

Laos+Cambodia: nothing especial, such boring countries. to me it's just a waste of damn money.

Vietnam: Hochiminh city is amazing but it's so hot there. Vung tau is great but Phu Quoc island much more better.

Have you ever been in Japan? Enjoy snow in Hokkaidou, seafood in Honshuu, Sun and beaches in Okinawa, ancient building in Kyotou, try every crazy things in Tokyou... yay!!!

  • I enoyed watching your video. My question for you is; is there a way to stay on the Phi Phi beaches for a low price? And do you have any links for me?

  • @pradasis16 you can stay on Ko Phi Phi for quite a low price, I am not sure if you can stay on "The Beach" speak Maya Bay for long, there is just a company offering one night at the beach that's what I did. Sorry don't have any links just check out hostelworld or similar. Cheers

  • @xTsyx Thank u!

  • did 2 months feel like a sufficient amount of time to experience the countries and be gone from home long enough?

  • @vengerov87 I just had two month holiday from university, but I guess it is sufficient time to travel around. If you'd like to experience more and get to know the different cultures better it would be good to have more time.

  • @xTsyx Did you personally feel like 2 months was enough time to experience the countries and to feel like you were away from home? Would you have traveled on longer if you had the chance? I am planning on going i don't know whether to do 2 months or more..

  • @xTsyx How much money did you take for the 2 months? Thinking of doing it myself, but i need to know how much to save.

  • damn wish i was back out there!

  • gosh i really want to go to south east asia now its so beautiful

  • This might sound reaaaly cheesy. But you guys (in this video) are the perfect example of what living is truly about. Travel, explore, meet, smile, laugh. Sick video mate!

  • Great stuff. DEAD ON colors. Thanks for posting.

  • Hi

    Great video

Does anyone know what the title of the first song is? It's amazing I can't get enough of it. Thanks guys

  • What Camera did you use?

  • nice video... I'd like to know what's the song title and artiste for the Laos part.

  • @elynn5528 Dem Gone by Gentleman is the first song. Is that the song you meant or the second one?

  • @elynn5528 This is "Sway" by the Lostprophets :)

  • awesome video i really want to do thailand and laos in january and febuary of next year..thank you for sharing!!

  • What is the camera do you have?? The photos are epic!!! The colours look amazing!!!

  • Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions. Let my countdown (for my two month trip to SEA) begin! I'm going alone so I'm kinda in a "what am I getting myself into" mode right now. Four days to go!

  • Nice vedio I like ti so much. I saw many times.

  • great video, did the same trip myself last yr,good memories, seeing BEER LAOS nearly brought a tear to my eye !!

  • nice video ive been to all them places and it def changes your outlook on life

  • what time of year did u go? i dont want to go in wet season lol

  • @lloydjoslin july- august but still, in wet season it might rain for 1-2 hours a day the rest is nice so don't worry to much ;)

  • @xTsyx hey bro amazing music RASTA MUSIC NICE REGGAE MUSIC MAN I RESPECT YOU FOR THAT

  • Wow... What part of SEA got a 6? What countries/parts of countries would you have skipped? Where would you have stayed longer? How much of your trip was planned before hand? I'm from Maui and heading to SEA on the 29th for two month. By the way... You take nice photos and video (considering the camera you used). Thanks for the quick response!

  • @MauiJared I would't skip any country all where pretty nice and I gues every person experiences each country differently. I would have stayed longer in Loas, Vietnam and cambodia :D I spent most of the time in Thailand as it was so beautiful, but the other countries have so much to offer, I wasn't able to dicover a small percentage. I didn't plan much in advance just the vaccinations that's all. I just go somewhere and everything else just happens ;). Thanks!

  • from 1 to 10 (10 being the best)... How much did you enjoy South East Asia?

  • @MauiJared it varied from country to country, but SEA is in a range between 6 and 9 ;).

  • amazing im hoping to go in june/ july time, how did u get such good footage ? did u have like a £2000 camera? i wasnt planning on taking anything valuable in case it was lost or stolen but would love to be able to take photos like these?

  • @lloydjoslin as you can see in the description my camera was everything but a real valuable one. I used the Canon IXUS 100. My former point n shoot cam got stolen, so yes you have to take care of your belongings over there.

  • Ahh, Phi Phi - start the video with a bang! :-D

  • hi , i want to go backpacking through asia after high school... so please answer my questions! ok, first is it ok to go alone? what if you are a girl? is it expensive? how long did you spend in each country? was it scary? you might not be able to answer but i'm just nervous...

  • @LinkShouldBeAGirl Yes it is okay to go alone even if you're a girl, since you will meet heaps of backpackers anyway to travel with. It depends on your living standarts you can get a away pretty pretty cheap (expect the flight), but then don't expect any luxury and get used to bugs and geckos ;). I've spend approx. one month in Thailand, 1 week in Laos, 1 week Vietnam, and 1 week Cambodia, but you can easily plan more time for the latter ones I've just had 2 months in total. Wasn't scary at all!

  • @xTsyx oh gosh thanks, that helps a lot!! now the only thing i have to worry about are geckos and bugs... my biggest fears....lol

  • Whoever put this compilation together has got some artistic talent going on there and should consider getting themselves into production!

  • loved your video..im definitely now going to Thailand, Cambodia, & Vietnam in early March for my birthday!! Thanks so much for sharing.

  • nice :)

  • This is amazing, im going in 6 days, for 4 months. Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Indonesea. Cannot wait, will post something similar when i return in march !!!

  • Inspiring! Im planing to travel in Asia fall 2011. Backpacking is the way to travel.

  • So COOL!!!

  • Hey, I'll be backpacking from China all the way South and visiting these same places. Which country was your fav? Great vid by the way!

  • @shellytales I enjoyed all places I've been to but Cambodia and Laos impressed me pretty much by means of the travel feeling, especially to see such a different world and culture. When it comes to beauifull beaches Thailand is on top ;)

  • Looks great and music fits perfectly! Last summer I travelled through Europe with my friend and my next destination is South East Asia. I don't know when but someday :)

  • SO inspiring! I am seriously considering going to Thailand and finding work their because this economy. May I ask how you were able to afford the trip? Meaning, did you save up a few hundred first or did you work there? I am desperate to see the world and somehow make a living doing it but am worried I Might be a bit of a "dreamer"

  • @Summer325130 I did work back home to finance my trip over there. Just spend 2 month over there so there was no need to work (you would have needed a working visa over there anyway I guess). If this is your dream try to live it !! There will be ways.

  • wow thats fantastic .

  • Thanks for your comments! I can't remember how much it cost all together but you can survive with a budget from 20-40€ a day, depends on your travel comfort (food, accomodation, party!!!,...). The first song btw is "Dem Gone" from Gentleman.

  • @xTsyx Did you REALLY go here ? did you take these pics and vids ?

  • @jacecrawford Haha yes I did not photoshop me in there :D

  • what is the song in the first part of the video?

  • Beautiful!!

I'm still doubting whether to go to south america or to south east asia.

How much did your trip cost?

  • @arabie2006 I've spent a total of 3 months in SE Asia and 6 months in Central & South America (check out my youtube videos on each). Both are awesome but SE Asia is better if you are more a beach and party person. In LatAm you still have plenty of both but it's a more diverse experience I would say.

  • WOW! Breath-taking! :) REALLY appreciate you sharing this!
