Sweet tutorial been searching for something like this for a long time! Found it pretty easy to translate it into logics es2 synth. And I'm sure many others on here will appreciate it too.
You have a knack for teaching, unlike a lot of youtube 'tutorials', which make things way more compicated than they really are. I just got Massive, and I learned a lot about the synth itself from this, apart from the JO sound. Brilliant - and any chance of a tutorial on Joker's sounds...?
@MoneyDubplates probably best to work that out yourself - it teaches your ear, and soon you'll be able to work out pretty much any melody/harmony. just from experience I've learned loads more from working stuff out this way. Tho' of course i've asked people too ;)
First of all thanks for the tutorial, like everyone said your about the only person with a tutorial of this genre. I'd like to ask If you can, with spare time make a tutorial not targeting a specific synth, but rather more of the theory in sound design for future garage style synths.
Excellent tutorial. This is the only good tutorial for garage/2-step synth i could find on the internet. Thank you very much. Also, i use cubase+massive too :D think i just got lucky
@coltmanmusic yo bro take ya time. its hard enough to find people that do tutorials on post dubstep/futue garage or however you may call it.
i try out my own too but seeing how other people developed the extra same to see how the ones up there make their sounds just bums my creativity to 120%, thank ya bro!
What chords were you playing?
Absolutely lovely video btw!! Learned a lot. Hope you make more Massive tuts.
