Sorry you're wrong. Hamas broke the ceasefire. According to the ceasefire, hamas was responsible for stopping ALL rocket attacks into Israel, not just those done by Hamas. Hamas failed to do this. Therefore it broke the ceasefire.

And to "wotdoesitmatter", just because Hamas didn't claim responsibility for the rockets directly, doesn't mean they had nothing to do with it. The rockets were constantly being shot from their territory (and by the way, this reporter didn't take into account all the mortar shells also being shot into Israel), so the rockets are their responsibility. If rockets were coming out of Israel, you would hold Israel responsible, even if the Israeli army technically did not fire them.

War ceasefires are a very serious thing. You do not break them lightly. War, assuming there is a legitimate purpose behind it, is an absolute last resort, only justifiable after every peaceful measure has been exhausted.
It is clear that Israel are not interested in peace. If they were, they would accept and uphold a ceasefire, and agree to the perfectly reasonable peace treaty currently on the table.
But.. peace is not in their 'interest'. How could they steal land if there was peace?

That's an interesting question. OF COURSE I would care if that was happening, but that is not even a possibility at this point. Israel has freedom of speech and freedom of the press (neither of which Hamas or Fatah has ever allowed in their territories), so I'm sure you understand that it is a lot easier to believe that Israel is telling the truth.
