There was no strobe because it was not necessary in this building. The evacuation took place in another building (the Nanotechnology building) They are the ones that needed the flashing strobes and other evacuation tones. I am pretty sure they had more "alarm action" that what was scene in these moments. Had the emergency been in the library we would have seen strobe flashing and other alarm action.
they probably just set it to speaker only.

Why no strobe light? Sorry, no pass as it's failing! Follow ADA Law in June 1990 that need fix strobe light or exchange now!
