The big numbers you see is Bravery, is FF Tactics. You basically beat eachother senseless thus "stealing" the other's Bravery. After its depleted you start to deal actual HP damage. This means there is Doubt and Faith-type spells and abilities!

There seems to be a limit break-esque type of sequence. Can anyone tell me, can garland transfom into chaos? (not the god chaos, but the way he was in FF1.)

Aw yeah! I hope so too. I was also thinking that you don't really know how old garland is. So I hope he doesn't sound like a guy in his 50's or 60's. I'd prefer a 30 or 40 something sound to his voice.

I feel for your pain man. Actually there ain't a bad guy story mode really. Mostly only the good guys. I'll defend you too. My thinking is you either don't have the cash to get the game or you haven't grabbed a hold of one yet. Truthfully I got a Nintendo DS first but for those hardcore Sony fans I did got myself a PSP shortly after I got my job so I say FTW don't judge others by their words! XD

You know guys, I've thinking about Garland's Ex Mode appearance, has anyone of you realised why his appearance is that of like a holy knight, with a white cape with runic patterns because I was thinking that could this be how Garland would look like before he became evil and corrupted?

i only got one of the crystals in final fantasy 1. how many times do you fight Garland? Does he reapear later in the game?

if not then i think that putting in the first boss as one of the characters in this is stupid.

Garland is the first AND the last boss of the game; obviously the second time around he's much more difficult. This one appears to be modeled after the Final Boss version.

I think it's more of a reference to ff1, where he is the first boss, then transforms into Chaos, the final boss.

Don't have one, why? because its stupid, every1 is different, just because they're first there the strongest? absurd. What if squall was first and warrior of light was second? doesnt make much sense now does it? now by your logic, squall is stronger than anyone above him just because hes first. Lol. Maybe this applies for "some" things like movies, but you need a reason, not just because its "first"

well the other ffs arent in the same world, so it could mean they are during the same timeline, just in a diff universe. and just because he has more experience than the other ppl, it doesn't mean that he is the best...

All the stories might be happening at the same time, as they are in different timelines (or galaxies or dimensions, if you don't get it).
