As part of our bi-annual International Student Orientation we provide an introduction to both cultural adaptation in general and to American culture in particular. Then, throughout the year, we address individual concerns as they come up or are brought to our attention. For students with serious adjustment problems, we encourage them to work with our excellent on-campus Counseling Center.

Absolutely! Love that quote. I am curious...what kind of coaching does the international student office or the college give to students facing culture shock? I am a cross-cultural coach... I work on net, phone and inperson to help people with issues. :) Thanks for making this video.
