the memory card has nothing to do with the photos, because the camera has a intern memory, which saves the photos for a short time, so the fps are always the same.
@Xyb3rTeCh Hello I'm a canon I only have one cf slot and I lower saturation to hide noise at higher iso's.. oh but I have more than 12 megapixels which is great for.... erm.... highstreet salemen selling to dumbass's... Its still pretty high Nikon don't have anything with a high pixelcount... oh wait the D3x.. which way is ebay again I need to list myself.

try getting more than 1.5fps from a Hasselblad or other medium format, they're great for landscapes and studio work but not even the same league for action/wildlife photography.
it's not the card, he is probably shooting raw and has noise reduction on. switch to jpeg and deactivate NR and it'll shoot continuously up to 100 odd jpegs!
nil1230: You actually realize that a single-lens reflex camera ain't comparable to a medium format camera? Try taking a Hasselblad - even if it's a monster of a camera - to a sports field to take some pictures of running rugby athletes and i think your leafshutters would start to seem pointless. This is what a 1D-series camera is about and you're also missing the whole point about SLR's alltogether.
buffer is too slow? Your card is too slow.

it doesnt matter how fancy your photo gear is. You still have to be in the right place at the right time.

@TheBurnout96 Well the FPS is the same, but the buffer would fill up a lot faster because the card can't write fast enough to keep up with it.

@lordsofla
allright, but only thing i wanted to say is: the fps are always same, and thats right :)
sorry for my bad english :)
