Kat Von D Make-Up Look (by Kandee)

I recently bought the Kat Von D Tattoo Chronicles Candelabra Edition Palette. Could you possibly create a look using some of the lighter colors? Preferably Precious, Camila, Galeano, First Class, and Sunset Blvd.

oooooor you could use a cheaper alternative such as cover girl. Eyeshadows: for the black I used "shimmering onyx" from their single color shadow or the black in the "drama eyes" 4 color palette eye shadow. for the gray I mixed the black and silver from the "drama eyes' palette. the mauve & shimmery nude/biege I used the "urban basics" 4 color pallette eyeshadow. The dark brown I used was "brown smolder" single color eyeshadow. and you just use black eyeliner, a nude lip color and a brown blush.

Interesting enough, I realize that all women (even some straight men if you look at history books) in ancient times have one way or another, adorned themselves (body or facial-wise) in artistic visual ways. You can call it what you want, but somehow the need to adorn ourselves in makeup isn't just vanity, but historically a need to cover simple flaws. Thousands of years later, we're still doing it, only in different and more creative ways.
