Just to add to the 6speed auto talk (fashionably late of course):

The extra two gears wouldn't necessarily = kill everything because they would be very much like a 6speed in a vette. Meaning te last two gears are essentially overdrive and not designed to handle constant heavy torque because of the higher final drive ratio...just my best guess here so correct me if I'm wrong.

In I believe the c6 vettes, top speed is achieved in 5th and not 6th because of aerodynamics, rolling resistance and so

2150 actual elevation and most track days see anywhere from 3200-5000 calculated elevation.

I would love to see how a 3000 stall and tune to remove torque management would wake it up as it did wonders in the '01 t/a I use to own...I'm a little worried that the stock tranny wouldn't like it much and that would void our extended warranty.

I Test drove one of these at a dealer once just to play around with it, I had no intrest in buying it, but they actually trusted me enough to go out on the test by myself, boy big mistake on their part, Longest test drive ever! took it back when they were closing and just told them I didnt want it and left.

@davdruan a Jimmy can not do this. In 4wd I doubt a Jimmy could even chirp the tires. The 4.3 just isn't putting out enough power and torque. Maybe a supercharged stroked Jimmy, but not stock. Remember this trailblazer is awd family suv and it smokes all 4's. Think about what's going on in the video before making a stupid comment
