Both parents have to be citizens for Obama to be a natural born citizen. His Father was from Kenya (a British national), so therefore Obama would have a dual citizenship. Again, you can't be a natural born citizen if you have a dual citizenship.

Obama's grandmother lived in Kenya and claimed to have been at the hospital where Obama was born. She died during his campaign. At the time, Hawaii would register children even if htey weren't born there. He's registered in Hawaii, but it's not confirmed that he was actually born there, or if he was born in Kenya.

what do you mean? He was born in Hawaii in 1961. Hawaii became a state in 1959. That would make him a natural born citizen.
