1--- The story goes like this: Danko and the Captain are the same. Danko leading his people out of the dark forest and the Captain trying to get them out of the ice/hit iceberg. The main character is the meteorologist who was sent to see what happened to them. The meteorologist finds a "haunted" ship but as he starts saving everybody he escalates all the way up to the Captain's death.
2--- The Captain's death is an analogy to the way Danko's people turned against him because of all the time they were lost in the forest (allusion to the 20 years or more of the crew in the ship). At the end of the game, you change the story by giving him the little ship to the Captain as a symbol of power, which means that even though the Head Quarters (HQ) sent a message firing the Captain,
3--- the guy who gives him the little ship is telling him to send the HQ the little ship and that's all they will get because the Captain will still be in charge. Doing so changes everything because it means that the crew (people) didn't reveal against the Captain (Danko) and finally, by trusting the Captain they were able to see the light and be saved,
4--- which an be seen at the ending when the meteorologist, instead of finding a "haunted" or cursed ship for betraying the Captain, is saved by the Captain and his crewmen.
This game has a great story. If only the gameplay were a little more playable, this would be one of my favorites of all time. But it's still a great game, though I will probably not play it through again.
Um, how did giving the captain the boat save everyone? And why is the nuclear generator missing, did cronos(the last boss, god thing) rip it out of the ship?
@RipUaNew1 That's the problem with "gamers" these days, they can't apreciate a great attractive well written story. all they care about is action, multiplayer, and graphics :(
didn't the iceberg release poison gasses into the ship which made everyone sick and eventually zombified, only the ones that died before the gas was released actually died and you can alter their past ultimately saving the whole ship.
I liked the ending, everyone lived :3 also final boss made me wtf lol
the captain was desperate and steered the ship into demise (dunno why the crew turned into monsters, why you have time-powers or what the hell the greek god of time is doing here but whatever...)
with the small model ship you mended his heart and restrained him from fucking you up.

can someone resume this story for me? i didn't understood very well :S
maybe listening in russian, reading in english and "translating' realtime to portuguese in the middle of the game action is too much

@phamiey01 Heh, "Last level" - Is it really mean that you have a fight with very hard boss? Its just stupid cliche.
