Euro M3 E36 was first 3.0L with 286hp and later 321hp 3.2L!

M3 E46 has always 3246cm³ (3.2 or 3.3, who cares)

Not that handbrake FYI, it's the wear sensor for the brake pads, letting you know they need to be changed. Also, the E46 M3s are 3.2L and the E36 M3s are 3.0L, and just because I'm a smart ass the E30 M3s are 2.3L.
