  • No animals were harmed during the making of this video. Thankfully.

  • That one didn't 'get lucky' .. looks like it was smarter than you and you had shitty aim!

  • I wanna shoota moose in the horn with an arrow.

  • Yes, hunts are typically a disaster for the animals that are shot, especially if they died simply so someone could get it on camera, with some cover story about needing the meat, etc.

  • bwahhahaha! you should have aim for the tree and hit the moose!!!

  • Mr Hunter, dont you know that for every animal you hurt or kill, you in turn will be hurt and killed some time in the future. Its called 'Karma'. Yes thats right - K A R M A.

Go Google it and learn something. Then take up a hobby that doesent involve killing.

  • @Stoory: nexttime you buy a hamburger you must now you kill the next hamburger in the store. ..... you now money and work

  • @Stoory You're applying that concept all wrong. So I guess that every human being who ever lived prior to convenience stores must be burning in Hell right about now, correct?

  • @Stoory Ah you must be a vegan who doesn't wear any leather. If not your position is not consistent and you should probably just keep your mouth shut.

  • OMG! THAT WAS A WORLD RECORD TREE YOU KILLED!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!

  • Let me be honest, the puky music doesn't make anything anymore exciting, actually is quite the distractant from wanting to even continue watching...........the video...............

  • I glad the animal got away..

  • Yep that really is a distaster the tree could've died!!!! OH NO!!!!

  • If you would have used the Quaker Boy Bulldozer moose call this problem would have been resolved. It is unique, loud, and makes the most realistic sounds!!!

  • wow

  • EPIC FAIL!!!!!

  • Oh man, you killed a tree. I hope you ate it.

  • this one got lucky? what? the three? You got lucky you don't live near me, I wouldn't aim for the three if I saw you hunting. Go to a supermarket and buy your meat there, like every developed human. Or do you still live in a cave? In that case, cary on!

  • @saminiky Yeah buy your meat at walmart! it grows on trees there, don't you know?

  • @coelkwsm there is no walmart where I live. I didn't want to insult you, I didn't know there still were people living in a cave, building campfires and eating meat they just killed.

  • @saminiky We live an house, complete with indoor plumbing and electricity, and we're about to chow down on some elk stew that I killed and my wife and I butchered with our two hands.

  • @coelkwsm Yum? hmmm :-S What ever, eat what you want, everybody does, that's why we are living in a wonderfull world with no climate change at all. Btw it's kinda funny how you make the classic 'a' or 'an' mistake (you live in AN house) while you're the one living in america.

  • @saminiky Ah indeed I did make a mistake, don't we all? Yes I do live in America. I wouldn't recommend coming here though, as you would most likely end up choking on the sweet air of freedom.

  • @coelkwsm hahah yeah 'land of the free' where dogs have to be on a leash! lol. Please don't talk to me again, next thing you know you'll be talking about the 'american dream' bahahahahahha!!!!! lmao

  • @saminiky not every peorson gets there meat from a store i have a choise to but prefer to hunt all of my red meat i will not buy any meat product from a store i hunt it all up on my owen and there are many like me

  • @nitroexpress700 I hope this isnt near the athabasca. The native populations have stopped eating the moose meat as its packed with toxic levels of mercury....

  • @GoGadgetHookerClean na more twords grande p, edmonton and hinton area's depends where i draw

  • lol i went from holy cows in india to mooses in america -_-

  • ah yes the enjoyable sport of hunting ... where the other team doesn't know they are playing the sport ... :)

  • @jshocampo people who hunt for sport are gay i hunt for food.

  • @jshocampo most people hunt for meat. unless you're a vegetarian, you pay other people to kill your meat for you. some people do the dirty work themselves.

  • If I had a nickel for every pixel in this video, I'd have like ten cents.

  • Great hunting Mr. Larsen.

  • HEY!! wrong hunting season bud.

  • good shot fred bear

  • Good choice, that tree probably grossed more than 475 inches... great branches...non-typical.... Perfect!

...and good job not letting the moose distract him=P

  • You drew back wayy to early. Hope you like the taste of wood;)

  • lol the comments on this are hilarious, no smartass comment I could make would even be as funny so I won't even try, LMFAO

  • hope you skinned the tree and used all it parts lol

  • sound tarck is good.. lol

  • As Red Forman would say, Dumb Ass!!

  • Well?....Did the tree make it or not?

  • @AdamB9098 llllllllloooooooollllllllllllllllllll hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah lllloooooooooooooollllllllllllll hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahaha

  • omg fail

  • that tree got its shit fucked!

  • where is the disaster?

  • fuck u suck

how do u field dress a beech tree lol

  • retarded..!!

  • LMAO: I hope ya had a tag for that...

  • Uhm, you're making the gathering of firewood far more complicated than necessary, you know that, right?

  • This must be the new 3D 1080p Ive been hearing about.

  • Uh oh...wait till the anti-hunting vegans see this. ROTF!

  • Qué triste.

  • You waited 10 years to win the tree permit lottery and you took a yearling birch?

  • Pretty skinny but one heck of a rack.

  • nice shot

  • What do you have to leave on the carcass to establish sex? Where do you attach the tag?

  • That's not a disaster, it's just a miss. Getting beat down by a moose or shooting yourself in the foot is a disaster

  • you were hunting in too thick of cover

  • Man,

He really nailed that sapling. Good thing it wasn't a redwood, it'd probably charge at him.

  • Since your in the wood cutting buisness could you build me cabin in that spot. That way when your done cutting that all clear i could hunt that spot . LOL

  • fail

  • he's lucky that tree didnt charge

  • check out ol'man outdoors for high quality treestands.

  • You did realize that the tree had saplings of it's own?

I wouldn't say that the moose was lucky as much as you were poorly prepared.

  • i like how shure the hunter was!

  • I shot a a limestone rock at 300 yrds once trying to shoot a doe that was quartered to me. I thought the deer exploded. White dust went everywhere. Probably my most favorite hunt. Six thousand acres in West Texas with just me and my two brothers.

  • LoL!!!!!!!!

  • When did Homer Simpson take up Bow Hunting? Dooooooooo!

  • I would've beat the hell out of that tree when the camera turned off. I'll bet he hunts in a clear cut next time.

  • OMG! That poor tree!

  • This is truly a disaster. I was going to make a significant donation for Japanese earthquake relief, but this incident is more serious. We need to get the word out so no other birch trees are harmed.

  • Tree stands are so gutless..

  • are there any good recipes for cooking birch?

  • "im gonna do it" *bojoing* O.o FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!

  • Canadian birch tree...... canadas most dangeous game.

  • i hope it didn't suffer!

  • it takes a few shots to knock down a tree, but im not too sure how to field dress it

  • Comment removed

  • @memmarc isn't it time you took this phoney pieced together video off this site? Have you read your reviews?Doesn't anything embarrass you anymore?Or are you just plain stupid? You claimed you had a small window to shoot through, then you said you were chopping down trees when the moose happened to walk by...are they that curious by nature?

Lets ask all the hunters out there! Lets talk about that moose you shot & couldn't find...it went down 100 yards off the road behind a log...well?

  • I bet that birch tree looks real nice above the fireplace.

  • I don't know much about Alberta birch but I do know that Newfoundland birch would be extremely hard to try and chew. In my opinion you would have been much better off firing at a spruce something softer and easier to chew.lol....I know shit happens better luck next time man. Cheers!!

  • ha ha you missed d:

  • Get Out of Alberta!

  • enough compression artifacts to open a fucking museum

  • You should not be able to hunt!

  • bush soup

  • How much is a tree tag?

  • That was merely a sapling. You really should have let it grow a couple more years. REAL hunters only shoot fully mature trees.

  • @blademaker22 and make log cabins

  • @blademaker22 i laughed so hard (you made my day) still laughing!!

  • @blademaker22 ~Thank you for giving me a very good laugh with your comment... I was having a very crappy day till I read that!! SMOOOOOOOCH!!!

  • jouv just killed a tree :)

  • hunter-0 moose-1 :)

  • that was fuckin classic

  • watch out, the tree huggers are gonna come looking for ya

  • why the fuck is it so loud..oo the volume is up duh...i dont wnt to talk about it.

  • seriously?? how can anyone dog this guy for missing? if you have never arrowed a sappling while shooting at big game, then you obviously have not taken many shots. he will re-live that shot for years to come. its not about the kill, its the experience, the rush, living in the moment. my most vivid memories are of deer and turkey ive missed, not harvested. the best thing that happened is he missed. his season didnt end. he gets to enjoy the experience agian. hunt on brother. hunt on!!!!

  • why do people dont like bowhunters ??? .... not saying it dosnt hurt but i guarantee you guys that its alot less painful then a gunshot ... theres no bullet cavity , its just a straight cut using the right poundage and the right broadheads and arrows ... i use both , but i like bowhunting better , sometimes the deer dont even know wht hit him ... they just stand there and 5 mins later they die...

  • @tuttoz People don't like bowhunting because its less likely to get a kill shot and it takes longer for the animal to die. Im not one of those people I just hear it from people all the time

  • @ToroToker a well placed sharp broadhead, especially a "Cut on Contact" as opposed to a "Chisel Point" is a faster kill than a bullet in the chest!

  • @fzbwfk9r True, but it's much simpler to aim and shoot a rifle as compared to a bow

  • That is one nice tree you got there :)

  • nice shot!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Bow and crossbow hunting has nothing to do with hunting ethics... the agony of the animal is just too long when shot this way.. TRUE hunters will understand, rednecks won't. Thank God this kind of hunt is banned in my country.

  • @DrCroata Dude you can drop an animal just as fast with a bow as you can a rifle. you just need the correct poundage, sharp broardheads, heavy weight and correct size arrow. the real problem is that most bowhunters just think close enough is good enough and rearly sharpen their heads, and keep their bow in good order but almost completely neglect the rest of their gear. some of the animals ive hunted have been hit and bedded down on the spot because they didnt realise they have been hit.

  • bow hunters are the worst, bow hunters are the lowest of lowlifes. Don't belive me? watch the videos called "Country Singer Troy Gentry Kills Tame Bear, Part 1" and "Hippopotamus bowhunting"

  • @sohcsarewicked well there dumbass those videos arent hunting thats a disgrace and you should realize that now that they said like 20 tims in that video that there in jail. 85% of what i hunt is with a bow and personally i think bow hunting gets you so much more involved and makes you work a lot harder for the kill so stop judging people like that

  • @sohcsarewicked Man im a bowhunter and you havent got a clue. i dont go for big game. i just hunt for meat. but you really need to get out in the field and see it yourself. I hate the way bowhunting is portrayed on youtube. there are so many inaccurate shots and bad kills and deaths on here and that is all people see. it gives everyone a bad name, but these rednecks keep posting. it sucks. so far ive seen one accurate kill on youtube. just because others are assholes doesnt mean we all are.

  • You have to have some balls to post a fail like this . Hey man , it happens to all of us .

  • u sure suck at life that was a nice bull

  • Gotta give this a like. How many of you have done this but are too embarassed to post it.............. don't lie!!!

  • wow

  • lol wow what a fail omg hahahhaaha!!!!!!!!!!!

  • looks like your eating good tonight, tree sandwich mmmmmm

  • this one got lucky or you sucks?

  • he didnt get lucky you just suck at hunting

  • I know Archery rule is "Aim small, miss small", but damn! you missed a whole lot moose! HAHAHAHA . . . . Thanks for the laugh though. Happy hunting.

  • Wow really innapropriate title, unprofessional

  • Yesssssssssss !!!!

  • Wow what a hit nice tree XD

  • You Gonna get it mounted??

  • misleading title just to get views. that's soo gay !

  • Ive never gutted a tree?

  • ur shit

  • you can get some decent fiber intake off those tree steaks

  • No disaster.Just hunting and no getting.

The title was a bit misleading.

A disaster would be a wounded animal or maybe falling from the treestand.

  • @JBodine67 I agree! the title was completely misleading!

  • Atleast you didnt wound the animal. Kudos for bowhunt.

  • Gotta admire you for putting this vid up. Probably happens to loads of people but none of them posted the vid. They just edit it out. Shows another side of hunting, and hunters. Happy hunting.

  • how do you miss a moose with a compound bow?!?! holy shit, you want it to stick itself? try some longbow, recurve then go back to compoung, with that much gear on ur bow you should'nt be missin. just sayin..

  • nice shot

  • Where was the disaster???

God i hate these videos where the title is the most dramatic part of the vid.

    Vid post FAIL.

  • what did that tree weigh, field dressed?

    they're tough, but good eatin'

  • same thing happened to me. but at least it wasnt a moose.

  • BAHAHAHAHAHAHH that was fucking fail hahahaha

  • Why not mount a laser...to avoid deforestation ?!

  • I'm sick of all these hunting videos, Tree's have rights too. Why can't you go after something that tastes better like meaty animals.

  • "HA HA"

  • exactly how do you field dress a birch tree to ensure the carcass is able too cool off properly ?

  • @isofaster The key is a sharp knife. You start at the.... ah well maybe I should aa.....well the key is a sharp knife.

  • @isofaster lmao

  • this one got lucky? i feel like alot of animals u draw on get lucky

  • Nice video.

  • ok first of all rofl and im sorry u missed secondly find a mian power line with deer in the area make a food plot and hunt it works greeat for me

  • ))) very good video!

  • looks a bit fake

  • hahahaha sucked in lol

  • "all of a sud-den dere he waz..."

lmao, what shit luck that guy had.

  • FAIL XD

  • tree hunting?

  • motherfucker!!! the key to happieness was fortunately a tree...

  • Ahahaha fail

  • you cant even hit a huge moose but u hit a tree u suck asshole ur a bad hunter

  • Comment removed

  • who the fuck hunts moose with a fucking bow anyway, you use a rifle for that, omg americans

  • @serbmafioso3 yeah :D

  • thats why ,huntin with a rifle is better :D

  • @marassalvadruce your joking rite

  • LoL pathetic! I don't like this form of "hunting" just sitting around waiting for your prey to walk into your view rather go fishing then! Personally part of the hunt is the stalking & tracking of the spoor, get close to your target that you can see the whites of their eyes!

  • ???

    what old days?

  • The moose won this time....better luck next time.

  • did the tree die?

  • @viper10011 It died. At least it was an ethical shot.

  • muahahahahahahahah epic fail! Moose win! use a 300 winmag next time won't matter if the tree is there or not it will go through it all!! hahahahah

  • hunting in real life :P

  • oh man.....that sux....bow hunting is definitley an art form....i'll stick with my 45-70 that will shoot through a tree like that and still rape bullwinkle, LOL

  • Fail

  • is the tree hanging in you living room wall?

  • u guys laugh, but he shot the tree on purpose...was more points on the tree.

  • OMG! Was the tree in season? Did he feed it to a beaver? Let's form a group called People for the Ethical Treatment of Aspens! PETA! I wonder how many years that tree suffered with an arrow in it up 20 ft? That hunter probably has a wood stove at home too! Sapling KILLER!!! Do you have any idea how many trees must be tortured each year just so people like him can have syrup on his pancakes? Stop this insanity!!! Ok, where are my meds??? ROFLMAO

  • @DougsterCanada1 lol anti hunters are morons.

  • @viper10011 I can see both sides of the hunting "issue", sadly most anti-hunters have never seen inside a slaughter house, but will protest a hunt and then stop by McDonald's on the way home. All I know is, if you want a steak, something is gonna die! I want some steak! Therefore, I will respect anyone who is not only willing to hunt game, but also will eat what is taken. Trophy hunts, to me, seem pointless, but when it comes to some meat on the table.. pass the A1.

  • @DougsterCanada1 OH HELL YEAH!!!!! But I want the A1 Bold mmm mmm mmm!

I never have cared much for hippocrits that will bitch about hunting and then go buy meat products either!

  • @lordraveneyeofra Hypocrites? Are they like little Hippos? I love baby Hippos, they taste like chicken, but a little more gamy. I eat them all the time cooked in a Dutch oven with baby carrots and mashed potatoes. Pass the A1 please. *Grin*

  • feel bad for tree huggerz

  • hahahaha fail

  • my heart is still racing

  • i think he better take some archery lessons

  • Did you finish the tree off?

  • @gregggiddens believe me there are a lot of trees that have been cut down,I was actually in the process at the time to get things ready. shooting lanes, brush clearing...but at that moment a moose came in...the rest is history
