It's been 2 years since I made the video so I'm not sure, but I think if you aerial hit again at the correct time after landing a previous attack, you will not bounce back.
Nevermind my previous reply. I'm pretty sure I tested using a 'sword beam' to hit both trees (with the beam and the slash) but either it didn't work or was slower. I can't test right now..
wtfh that is amazing, i just barely completed this mode with Bonkers, it was really easy with him cause he did huge damage but i can't seem to get far enough with others, its really alot more strategic than one would think
amazing work and screw you wham bam rock and jewel!
what you did is impossible on european real ds version there is a pause between attacks and you can't get that close to the enemies without taking damage but still very good
If you mean the repeated hits without bouncing back, that is possible and I confirmed that it works on the European version. And you can approach all the bosses as close as I did.
Is the up stab his strongest move? Like, I see it's pretty much your move of choice whenever the time presents for it, when you have a couple other moves you could do.
The aerial attack with really low, almost nonexistant fallback was cool, too.
I can never do the down stab against Kracko and not accidentally land on him. </3 TAS.
Amazingly fast run, though. KSS/U speed runs are pretty awesome, keep them up. =D
1.) There was a japanese savegame available and I was too lazy to create a savegame myself.
2.) SNES kirby super star has japan-only glitches and since there might pop up new glitches, it feels safe to use the japanese version instead of the US or EU version. I didn't want to risk a disadvantage.
Wow, i never thought it could be done that fast, you do many weak hits, but in order to do them ( At least when i play or try ) I need to attack very soon, so i delay it, but you don't seem to be doing that, for example vs Dyna Blade. Very nice work again =) it was amazing!
Weak hits (16 damage points) can be "chained" by abusing an exploit, so you don't bounce back when slashing towards an enemy. Otherwise I used down+b(aerial) or up+b (24 damage points) or a combination of 16 and 24 dmg moves. Bosses vary in terms of recovery span!
oh this was TAS. i was about to say. this seemed way to good to be human

Kinda wish there was a more impressive way to deal with Twin Woods... I mean, that's how everyone beats them in-game.

What's the difference between Sword Knight and Blade Knight?
SuperHoboPirateNinja 1 year ago
@SuperHoboPirateNinja
Blade Knight can't do the up-stab move. That's the only difference there is.
mugg1991 1 year ago
@SuperHoboPirateNinja Blade Knight is the helper version of sword Kirby and Sword Knight is like a helper version of Meta Knight.

Up stab and down stab (in the air) are the strongest moves and deal 24 damage points. Then comes the normal slash (in the air) which does 22...
