@LovinDAcod well i got them when they were only 8 weeks old and just start handling them early everyday , play with them and stuff. lure them on your hand with a sunflower seed everytime you play with them and they will learn to get on your hand for a treat : )
i love gerbils so much i had two and had to seperate them cos they were fwemales and they started to fight so have another cage ready just in case(just a bit of advice dont mean it in a bad way)
and she/he winked because she/he wanted to play if you wink back they will think that you want to play too!

i still can't believe they only cost like $10!!! With some paper towel rolls, shredded newspaper, and food... cheapest pet ever but still AWESOME!!

@LovinDAcod umm well they both are mongolian gerbils :P but different color...the first 1 was kero a spotted argente cream :)
