  • Lol, I used to bring my guys here and level up at least a couple hours a day for about a week. Definitely a great leveling up spot

  • You can't activate the alarm on disk one, i've tried, it wont activate untill way later in the game

  • best game ever. actually ive beaten it so many times im in the middle of going thru it trying to run from almost every battle I can, just to challenge myself. Makes it way more fun than leveling up and making it easy

  • but like once you disc 3 the best place would be northern cave tho right?

  • Recorded with a bronze dagger

  • Recorded with a potato

  • I love all the remarks about the video quality. I have no complaints about it as the quality isn't the point of this. You can clearly see where he's going, so this is more helpful.

Thanks man. This video really helped.

  • @kutlessrocker23 No problem ;). And thanks.

  • great quality

  • wow i wish RWJ had this 9999p quality xd

but anyway, aren't those mobs not there when you leave disk 1? i need a disk 1 proof in this location.

  • @willyFF7 The mobs always exist there when you activate the alarm. In all disks.

  • @Shadowsmoke11 oh i see :3

  • Or just learn Meteorain and you can almost instantly fuck up all the bosses all the way to Disc 3.

  • LOL! I lvled up here around that time, too!!! Up until I found out I'd lvl my materia faster in the mideel area....the lower level xD and sometimes the upper lvl xD

  • Hey i just bought this game after completing ff 13. I'm a bit confused, cos when you gain exp and level up, you don't increase attributes or use them on your character. It just says your a higher level. Can someone tell me what the benefits of levelling up are or if i need to do something when i level up like with the crystarium in ff 13. Thanks in advance.

  • @SK8BRDDUD123 well in this game like most of the other final fantasy series, when you level up, your stats automatically go up as well, therefore there is no "spending" needed, exp levels your characters up and the AP levels up your materia, granted your armor and weapons don't have "no growth" which very few have. Seek out 2x growth armor and weaponry ASAP, and always have it on, makes leveling materia a lil less painful. There are also 2 3x grow weapons, Cid has Scimitar, Cloud has Apocalypse

  • @AngealHewley88 Cheers for the help

  • What is the point of leveling up so early? The game is easy as hell unless you run away from battles, if you just play the main game you'll be 50-60 by the Northern cave and can easily beat Sephiroth

  • shoulda gone to specsavers

  • Or skip this location completely I grinded for limit breaks via the forest outside of Rocket town killed ALL the enemies at once using Trine Beta or Aqualung had most limits usable and hit levels over 45+ easily.

The enemies in Junon required me to have 2 party members user Beta Trine or Aqualung and both are costly MP wise. which is why I prefer killing the enemies outside the Rocket Town forest instead.

  • hey did you use my hamburger to record this? no offense..... but i got to level 35 with this method....... thanks..... tho now the thing i use is near mideel cuz i need money for golden chocobo

  • @undeadman7676 Lol, yeah. The qualty kinda sucks. But I will do an remake of this video with a better camera.

  • @undeadman7676 I would have to say Mideel is the best place to Level up AP which is all that matters. Get that cut x4 born. Best materia in the game.... IMO... triple growth slot that bitch and hand it out to your members. Thats the reason I keep comnig back to this game.,. Or the abandon submarine where you find cut x2 (bets materia BTW if I nvr mention it b4) The enemies down there are hard as hell... Did I mention you find the best materia (CROWD INTERJECTS) CUTx2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I level up here too. I leave with Bolt 3, Ice 3, Quake 3, all while on disk one and level 3 limit breaks. hahaha

  • @WallaceGator618 oh and a mastered 'all' materia to sell for 1.4 million gil of course? :-)

  • @Peter20UK all you had to do was sell 1 mastered "all" materia and u were rolling in the dough. As soon as u get to coastal del u can buy the mansion

  • @WallaceGator618 exactly :-) ... maybe not to buy the mansion though... that's something i do later on as something to do when i'm not mastering materia lol

  • same place i used to use :D

  • we meet again, 240p...

  • can't see shit, captain

  • @pokemaniak30 Sorry mate, I will make a remake of this video with better cam someday xD.

  • the only final fantasy i havent finished

  • omg, if i dident beat this game 50 times i would have no idea what your doing! please upload in better quility when you have the means to.

  • @TheKosard I'll keep that in mind ;)

  • I don't see why I'm watching this. I already have lvl 99 for all my char's. :D

  • MY EYES.... IT BURNS

  • This spot is badass. My first time through my friend told me about it and I used it. got my party to like level 40 and cloud to almost level 50. Just rocked the rest of the way through the game.

  • IT WORKSSSSSSSSSS

  • It's the Highwind!!! :)

  • @rockerdude806 A airship. You get it much later in the game.

  • I tink there are a few good places to lvl up. On the first disc I'll usually lvl up in these places: underneath Junon, inside the cave in Cosmo Canyon, NIbelheim mountains, near Wutai. I'm going thru the game again, and I'm on lvl 63 with Cloud and Aeris, and everyone is ready for their final limit break.

  • Also, most of the materia that I have is mastered. I'm at the end of disc 1 (well, the Temple of the Ancients).

  • @xxialmostcarexx How'd you get it to level up so fast?

  • @iiCloudsx3 Just level there :D. It's just a matter of time until you've reached very high levels ;).

  • @iiCloudsx3 honestly, just equipping a bunch of it, but being tactful about it. Coud is initally equipped with Bolt and ice. I always keep it equipped, so it levels up. Same with Red XIII's fire materia. The rest is just patience. Try going to these places that people have mentioned, and leveling up your party memebers and your materia should be quite easy. By the beginning of disc 2, everyone should be damn near invincible.

  • i trained there when i got my car back i tried poison the machines on the poison monsters i casted this enemy water magic

  • The quality is exceptionally good. Is it 1080p?

  • @Christianjr4 Ha ha, not the best :P. I've thought about remaking this video with a much better camera in the future xD.

  • @Shadowsmoke11 ya hi guy, the best place i have found to level up on disk 1, you have to wait until you get tiny bronco and you go to the town were you get countain, but you cant get in the town yet so just go next of the town on the beach, the big worm gives you 1300exp and 200 ap if you have double weapons thats even better

  • @Christianjr4 LMFAO!! Real Jerk COMMENT

  • actually there is a place you can level up much earlier. the second time you head to the shinra building (in the tunnels) head all the way to the end towards the screen

after a few screens you'll come to a dead end with two guards posting. just keep running into them (staying) and you'll have fight after fight after fight. leave after a fight to heal and get back on it.

  • I'd buy a remake of this, even if the in-game sprites were low-graphic, like how they remade FFI and FFIV.

  • Hell yeah, I ran this shit all day!

  • OH GAWD MAH EYES!!!!

  • only places i level in disc 1 are, first reactor where jessie is then its the area just before city of ancients (2 screens before the world map). its groups of 5-6 monsters that you can kill in 1 cast with Trine monster skill. Then on disc 2, cosmo canyon (in the dungeon where you see Nanaki's father) , and lastly northern crater in disc 3.

  • I think square enix did not like this game at all because it came out in psx and they wanted it in a nintendo, but they couldnt. I think a remake would be very unlikely.

  • @Adana180109 I don't think Square dislike this game at all. And about them making it for psx/ps/ps1 whateva. They planned to realese FFVII for the next upcomming Nintendo console (N64) but on of the flaws with the console is that it didn't have enough memory to satasfy FFVII. So Square were better off going with the Sony Playstation because it used CD-ROM. Therefore they could fill in all the information on those CD discs (there were a total of 3 discs).

    Hope It'll helped everyone ^_^

  • @Shadowsmoke11

This is correct. Square specifically left nintendo for sony because Nintendo wanted to stay with cartridges and sony had cd's. How could square not love FFVII, which for years was, and for many still is, the standard which all other rpg's were/are measured against.

  • @Shadowsmoke11 There was also a 4 disk version.

  • @Shadowsmoke11 Actually, FF7 was on playstation because square did one of it's worst contract ever. Actually, Square had to dedicate ever next FF games for the next two consoles (that was the deal). Therefor, came the Ps1, and the PSP, that's why since the psp is out you see FF titles on the Nintendo

  • @Shadowsmoke11 It was even planned for the snes before the n64

  • @Adana180109 "The Game That Sold The Playstation"...im sure sony treated square pretty good after the first week of sales and they didnt give a shit what console they were on anymore..

  • Horrible place to grind. Especially considering you can fight the green monsters (which usually is outside the town which the lifestream rapes later on) as soon as you get the tiny bronco.

  • i found this out on my own too. it's awesome. the best time to do it for me was after you get the buggy. went from lvl 30 to lvl 50 leveling up in that place. after that the enemies were tooo easy.

  • lol bad quality

  • On disc one there arent any anemies here..

There is a platoon practising some moves :)

  • @DaveBais Watch the whole video... You just need to set on the alarm (like in this video) in order for the enemies to appear.

  • @Shadowsmoke11 indeed, but it doesnt work at disk one..??? no alarm...

  • @DaveBais You must travel by boat to Costa Rica first, then return.

  • @Shadowsmoke11 costa del sol?? :) but i tried realy :)

  • @Shadowsmoke11 lol cost rica its casa del sol

  • @OoohPieaceACandy lol casa del sol you mean costa del sol lol.

    ...dumbass XD

  • @amirgattami well closer than costa rica

  • @Shadowsmoke11 I'm sure you know this by now, but you mean Costa del Sol.

  • @Darkscoper Yes. I don't know where I got ''Costa Rica'' from xD.

  • horrible quality

  • oh damn i always knew about the alarm but i tried to avoid it because i kept dying lol

  • I leveled up for a while on the airship platform in my first playthroughs. It's easy to level up and harder to master all the materia.

  • yea i actually knew about this before watching this vid :D !

i was kinda surprised about the mobs lvls hehe

but i had beta enemy skill alredy with me so 1 cast of it and a summond and they died :) didnt lvl too much though or the game would offer a chalenge at all

  • 1. You can't do this until you get the Tiny Bronco.

    2. IF you try to go back to Junon after first coming to Costa Del Sol, a sailor won't let you get on the cargo ship because Heidegger doesn't allow it.

    3. Post this information in your description, pls.

  • @SuperGuitarDude You are wrong, I am on Disc 1 and I have just left Gold Saucer with the buggy and you CAN go to Junon from Costa Del Sol. I had no problems getting there, just had to pay 100 gil to stowaway.

  • can you do this the first time you go to junon?

  • what level do I need to be to start here and what level can I stay here until?

  • @Nickthelich Start at lv 18 or 20. You are ready to complete the game easily at lv 70.

  • i did it and i got attacked by 3 dudes that like wrecked me

  • Does this work in disc 3 to? or just for those that still are in 1?

  • in my opinion ... this is bullshit (sry @ Shadowsmoke11) you don't need to lvl - i just would lvl in front of cosmo canyon that you can buy for every char a hp+mp-plus-materia. After that you should go on lvling in Nibelheim (sry i just played the german version) beat the big spider where u got trine, and lvl there untill your lowest char in the party is 50 and you run easily through the whole game.

  • as good as lvling is in junon right at the beginning there i do agree with you that lvling in nibelhiem where you fight the materia keeper is really goo exp and great way to build kill count (if ur usin vincent)

  • Albo co innego...

  • Kurwa czym ty to kręciłeś, kalkulatorem?!

  • To jest angol.

  • No i?

  • Thanks for this video dude it helped alot!

  • High quality win

  • lmao ikr

  • @ Shadowsmoke11...Where is Junon..I forgot where it is???

  • forgot where junon is how could you?? lol :p Junon is underneath midgar on the first segment/continent of the World map (near Fort Condor).

Its also very recognizable with the big bronze Cannon poking out of a square slab looking structure :D. later on in the game Mideel has the best level up for materia and Levels

  • you can actually get to mideel area (not the main island, a smaller one) on disc 1 as soon as you get the Tiny Bronco. I'm not exactly sure when on disc 1 this would become available. If it's sooner, then this would be a good starting point.

  • so i am playing the playstation one final fantasy vii..except on my psp. I'm at the chocobo part and I bought chocobo materia thing to get chocobos, but it didnt show up in my materia list. What do i do?

  • You can make it across without actually having a chocobo. I've done it a few times.

  • niceee tanx...i effin love this game =)

  • @Shadowsmoke11, may I ask you, where the Inn is? :D If it is in that building where the Dog is at the entrance so there is a Guard blocking the inn door while training ... :P

  • Yeah, near the dog. I think it's right. Don't blame me I've not been playing this in a while, but I do remember a dog when you mention it :)

  • Hehe, no problem. I found the inn already :)

  • i'll try to go there right after i could get yuffie

damn bitch so hard to get took me 2 days and still can't find her in the forest

  • How early is this? Because I'm at Kalm for the first time.

  • It's only a little bit farther. If I remember correctly, you have to go to Junon right after Kalm.

  • I'd recommend you to do this after the Gold Saucer. After you get the "Buggy"(a vehicle that takes you over shallow rivers and deserts) you should go there. And I also recommend for everyone to get atleast "Beta" Enemy skill from the Midgar Zolom which is lurking in the Swamp before Mythril mines. Near of the Chocobo farm. :)

  • Mideel Area forest the best :D

  • I tried going, but theres a guard out front and when I get close he tells me to get away.. lol

  • I tried this and it really is a great place to level up. I went from 25-50 and I am still on disk -1 hehe. It only takes a few fight for you to level. I heavily recomend using this area to level up your character as well as your materia.

  • You can go to this place when you first visit junon but you cant actually go to that place to level up something blocks you i swear i heard about this a while tried it and it didnt work

  • i thought vincent cid and cloud were the best couple in battle

  • I was trainining with Caith Sith and Cid cause I needed to level them. I don't really like Cait Sith that much xD.

  • @Shadowsmoke11 There is a guard blocking the way to the elevator help?

  • if you want it to be harder, I made a Patch for the PC game, I call It "FF7-Unbreakable Devotion" If you want I could send you my patch for it? Then see how easy this game is haha lawlz

  • Hahaha, do it ;)

  • do you have it for PC?

  • No. This is for PS1 and I'm playing this on my 60 gig PS3 version. You replied maybe to the wrong person?

  • I did, you are right, My appologies

  • One of the best places to level up I'm my opinion us the crashed plane underwater!

  • nah, northern crater by far. cant beat 16,000exp a pop ;D

  • u mean 8000 but x2 yeah! im power levlin as im rightin this comment :D

  • You get the most EXP out of that place, but you'll never get out of there xD.

  • why not?

  • Agreed thats where i lvled my chars. But on disc one this is a great spot.

  • nah my characters are cloud of course Yuffie and RedXIII and they are good characters agaisnt Ruby and Emerald and CId also is good but i got used to the ones i said Yuffie cause Doom Of The Living and RedXIII cause of his Stardust Ray which are very efective against Emerald and other tips i can show you on how to beat them to, ima see if i can show you how to beat Emerald with lv 50s and a way to not die with Emerald limit break

  • i think it was like 15,000

  • actually fighting in Junon on disk one....Well drown the kids and shoot the neighbors! We have a winner!

  • i actually found this by accident myself recently, and i only really stayed there cuz of the generous ap (i wanted 3 morphs), but b4 i knew it, all my characters were at least lvl 80, (cloud is lvl 99)... and aeris hasn't even bit the bullet yet, lol... damn i wish i had known about this years ago, lol... tip, when ur characters get high enuff levels, equip all three with fury rings (buy em in the gold saucer battle square), then all u really have to do is walk around and heal when necessary

  • In my early game, I kept Aerith in my party the whole time, because her limit breaks are so incredible for grinding. (especially 3-2 and 4. 1-1 and 2-2 are okay, but not as good).

Never knew about this spot though. Have to try it some time.

  • Why Caith Sith? My team is cloud, red XIII and Cid. Best :D

  • Because Cait Sith was at low level, and I felt like leveling up him a bit.

  • Me too!!!

  • mines cloud vincent and aerith i used an cheat to get her back from beyound the graaaave

  • In disk one this place is blocked by training guards

  • You can still train there.

  • Actually after you save priscillia you can go to a secret entrance into the shinra building.

  • hey, can you tell me how much ap the enemies give, its kinda hard to see in the vid.

  • Over 100 AP. By the two robots you get 140 AP.

  • thanks. doesn't look like to bad of a place to level up materia, especially with a double growth weapon.

  • stop cheating

  • lol i think it would be cruel not to do a remake of ff7 after what they did, they released a tech demo and at the end of crisis core it shows cloud jumping off the train like at the start off the original game.

  • it also shows aeris in that alley and then she walks away and the camera pans away and shows the city.

Just like the start of the original game.

  • i cant see a thing..

  • When can you get back on the ship? After the Gold Saucer? I am up to that spot now again. I bought this game the first day it came out, and never realized this spot. I downloaded the PSN version so my discs can finally takea break lol.

Though I am already up to 25, but it be nice to go there and level up my materia.

  • when i downloaded ff7 from PS store, there was a little bit of hope that the graphics would be the same as it was 7 years ago when i last played it, and it was :)

  • hey thanks i need some leveling up anyways!

  • Yeah, I got to Gongaga, then came back here and leveled up. I'm level 64 now. Almost all of my Materia is mastered.

  • Man, I've never noticed the alarm on the wall, and I thought I knew everything about this game. If you can really do this on disc 1, five stars.

  • I have this on PS3 KICKASS GAME

  • me 2 & i agree

  • me 2 and it is a KICKASS GAME!!!!!!!

  • dude theres a inn in that place 30 gil just go left of the tunnel with alarm then left once there will be alot of rooms with lights. go to the second one on the left it will have save point and beds talk to the guy and there u go

  • Ah, takes me back...

  • Yeah! This is a great place to gain some levels! I went from level 29 to 54 with my bud Cloud!

  • try the underwater sub marine, try to transform the enme in there

either you got power buster, defense buster or dexternity buster

    way more effective

  • i have ff7 since 1997 and i didnt knew that

  • Well, what a suprise it's for you then :)

  • yes that place is good for lvl up :D

  • Yeah, it really is. Thank you :)

  • what sword is that???????????

  • The one Cloud is using? I'm sorry but I forgot the name of it =O.

  • for me it seems like tha ragnarock or sumtin like that

  • Yeah, thats the name of it!

  • it looks like heavens cloud, the one you find in the crashed gelnika plane

  • thanks for posting this
