A friend of mine was injected with drugs continuously, and raped, by the time she was 14 she looked like a little old woman. The PF comes from another organisation that commited similar murders and were forced to join ZANU because their leaders got taken out by Mugabe. Iran may be OPEC but check what it's major imports are from Russia. As of late Irans oil production has faltered because of a lack of foreign investment. Like I said Zim has natural diamonds. A friend of mine was injected with drugs continuously, and raped, by the time she was 14 she looked like a little old woman. Another friend has lost her child, they took him off her and he is 14 now, she has fought like crazy to get him back, but the drugs they have tested on her son (without her consent) have made him so ill they are keeping him to avoid being sued. I agree with you on most of those points, especially the WMD one, I'm not in a minority when I say that 'certain' heads need to roll over that. But I do think that the old colonial sabotage card is being played a lot more than is actually the case. For instance, had Mugabe not sabotaged the talks between Smith and Nkomo in the 70's, this sort of situation would have probably not come to pass (and the war would have ended years earlier), as Nkomo had cooperative ideas to keep Zim going forward

Amazing that the sanctions excuse keeps coming up as a reason for the state of Zimbabwe now ... and quite pathetic when you consider that Rhodesia kept running with far harsher sanctions levied against it (and left a superior infrastructure for Zimbabwe to be built on after independence ... but of course that was stripped for ZANU's own personal profit). Zimbabwes sanctions amount to travel and financial restraints on around 130 people, Rhodesia had blanket sanctions against the entire country.

For instance the main supply route through the Beira strait was effectively shut down by the Royal Navy ... but of course you'll ignore that because it's inconvenient to your way of thinking that Britain assisted in sanction enforcement. The West pointed out they sanctioned Zimbabwe to combat the brutality and human rights abuse,explain how that logic works please?When they are persecuting innocent Arab Muslims,hypocrisy.

Three wars? In the 2010/2011 budget, defence spending was A$25.7 billion, representing the 14th largest defence budget in the world but accounting for only 1.2 per cent of global military spending.

Why do you constantly see conflicts in terms of race? The war in Iraq and Afghanistan has nothing to do with Arabs or Muslims. That is merely coincidental. If there were Vikings living in those areas they would have attacked them. It's the oil and the power it brings that is the reason behind those attacks.
I don't support them, by the way, but it does annoy me when people try to make it into a race issue. Many white non-muslims were out on the streets protesting against the war.
