The BIG differences that makes Tina more of an icon to people than Beyonce ever will be (besides the fact that I've heard that same "voice" come out of many American Idol hopefuls) BUT that Tina is unique & was versatile she went from Rock n Roll to R&B in the blink of an eye and never lost a fan base but only gained more of a fan base in the process. Also Tina worked HARD and survived a great deal for her career while Beyonce was handed her career on a silver platter due to who her father is.

@voiceaddict been studying the hell out of this clip, i noticed that too. i think the white strat is tuned different. this revue has to be the most exciting thing i've ever seen. it really gets no better than this. ike and tina at the top of their game and the ikettes are adorable too.

Tina herself said that Ike was a nice guy until he got on cocaine. That's what brought all of that madness out in him. Before the movie came out, I read her book "I, Tina". Definitely explains a lot more than that movie did. I recall reading once how the filmmakers had to pay him because the rape part was fictionalized.
