ATVs are street legal in eleven states. You ahve to adhear by these rules:

1. Have turn signals

2. have street qualified tires.

3. mirrors

4. Motorcycle lincense, due to the fact that you are taking it onto the street. Don't ask me which states ebcause I am not sure which states allow you to use them on the roads. Instead be handy and look it up yourselves. :)

Nice raptor. i have a 2003 660 well now a 719. it has a wisco hi comp pistion hot rods stroker crank hot cam stage 1 cam (no springs required) and a fmf pipe. it rocks hard but has never been to the races. just follow my son and his buddies around on there trx 450`s and some times the old man has to smoke em hard to keep the respect!

when you put the filter on did you have to tweak the jets on the carbs?

you dont have to rejet just for the filter but , I had to rejet because I did a bigbore kit , pipe and filter.

i put a k and n filter on and when i try to give it full throttle in every gear it bogs down. I wonder why?

check for leaks around the carb area , raptors are known for that , I cant see rejetting with just a filter , but I am not sure of how high your elevation is , you might need to rejet to the next size if anything it will be worth it just to see if it helps and cures the problem , jets are very cheap and your dealer sells them in a single pack.

hey yamaha dude did the 13 tooth sprocket make a differnce on acceleration, like did you fell more power, nice bike.

Yes it did , going to a 13th tooth was a good thing , but the main power came from the cam and 686 kit. Running 22'' is better then changing the gears anyday , its basically the same as changing your sprocket , it adds alot more speed also.
