@Krendel79 it was not Russian. In Slavic language, there are two words- Rus and Rossiya, the latter of which signifies Russia. The adjectives are respectively Rus'kikh and Rossiyskikh. The former adjective is the one used in the phrase you mentioned. Now, of course there is some anfractuosity with the translation to English, which, nevertheless, has little pertinence to the overall significance of your argument.
