i am a saluki dog. this dog speaks of the tale of its ancestors. and how its bloodline can be traced back to the pharaohs. particularly the child pharaoh tut-ank-amun named after the sun god Amun-ra. his saluki ancestors we're killed along with the young pharaoh. they were murdered by his jealous uncle. But the saluki puppies escaped and so im here now on the other side of the world, i wont be safe for too, long their after me, i think they know im here so whatever you do don't answer the phone

Talk some more What are you saying?/What are you talking? Make "howl" Talk nicely to ____ And what else will you say? That's most of what she's saying...

This Saluki is adorable. I have one and am trying to get her to 'talk' too. She is starting but very quietly!

Salukis are usually very quite dogs.... almost cat like in temerment. Mine would only "sing" durring the call to prayer if she was out side alone. Also when my parents would go away on trips she would cry for them with very intense mournfull howls.

my husband wanted to get a saluki but we have cats & he read somewhere they are enemies,so we have an afghan hound instead.
