Have you ever had a dream where you were you, but you seen to be living in a different life? It all seems perfectly natural or real to you while in the dream, but when you wake up you ask yourself, why did I dream that? Or where did that come from? Could it be that the dream state enables us to merge with another self or other selves in another life we are living simultaneously? Could our brains be time travel machines?
Check out my video Parallel Universes 9 on my channel. Merkabah invites you to explore myriads of universes. The negative partials of the anti-universe keeps you locked in time and space. The Merkabah removes the negative partials of the anti-universe so you can travel to Parallel Universes . Thus in Merkabah flight is through the many Parallel Universes, Merkabah the light energy vehicle through rotational circum version, creating threshold configuration with its power :)o*o
I didn't know so many uneducated people where interested in String Theory...Wow, maybe I was wrong. Maybe America isn't stupi-...Aww, wait...I'm looking at the comments, you guys are stupid...blessings
So if there are alternate universes, would there be an alternate universe where there would be no alternate universes? Wouldnt that be somewhat impossible?
@qamarra510 No we do matter. The universe isn't big at all because it is an illusion and the one eternal being that is yourself is the sole reality. All these theories are bunk because they are based on the invalid premise that reality is a material object.
this universe maybe made by big bang, but big bang by who? olny one thing can explain.thats God "he is da one who made human are above all kind but me(God), you cnt even think dat far wher i start from.so keep lok you wil never knw.
as it is not posible that we can travel trough time, because it doesent exists, in that measure is immposible that parallel universes exists. so, that would meant that non of us or anything doesent exists or exists in the same moment.
Could the parallel universes of Hugh Everett and the multiple dimension of String Theory be future possibilities of what might happen within our one three dimensional Universe? A dynamic Universe that we can interact with creating our own future!
The thing that boggles my mind the most is "Quantum suicide" theory. Search it on google if you don't know what it is. Trust me, it's rather intriguing.
infinity means all dreams, movies, video games, books, kids story's, fairy tales, every thing any human has ever thought of even for a split second exists ....times infinity.
For all those that play with firecrackers you should be embarassed! What you are doing is nothing but a fart compared to the awesome blast of the big bang!
That's because existence is energy, and nature is existence plus the details about the form and distribution of that energy. The default state of existence is dominated by quantum events. Our universe is an anomaly because it is still very young. When our universe started out at the Big Bang, it was about as far away from the default state as nature ever gets. But as it ages, it slowly evolves back toward the default state.
The stars will eventually all be burned out, with no more hydrogen left to make more stars with. This stelliferous period of our universe will last until the universe is about 1e14 years old, or about 10000 times older than the universe is now. But even that is a lot less than 1e100 years. So, really, stars and galaxies are brief phenomena when compared with the total lifespan of the universe. It just isn't quite as brief as baryon synthesis was, just after the Big Bang.
Science is considerably more limited than informed speculation is. With science, you only know what tests show you. Where you can't apply any tests, you don't have any scientific knowledge. But you can do informed speculation about things you can't test, by using inductive reasoning that is based on knowledge that you got from testing other stuff.
Consider the youth of the universe we're living in. Consider that the conservation of energy, which probably ought to be perfect even at the quantum level, isn't perfect. It has a flaw that lets energy appear and disappear, provided that the amount of energy is small enough and that the fluctuations occur quickly enough. Consider that quantum mechanics keeps predicting some sort of "many worlds" scenario, and that in a sense your reality depends on what information has become available to you.
Out of such considerations comes the multiverse hypothesis, which you can't test for the same reason you can't really find out what's going on inside the event horizon of a black hole or outside the cosmic horizon of the universe. Communication is limited to the speed of light, and space can flow or expand faster than that. But the multiverse idea is plausible, even though it isn't provable. It's consistent with what we know, even though we don't know enough to be SURE that it's the truth.
Most of nature is in the default state of existence, where vacuum fluctuations are the most significant events. But there are exceptional parts where that isn't true, and these anomalies (like our universe) are partitioned from the rest of nature by some sort of information barrier, like an event horizon or a cosmic horizon. Across those barriers, the only interaction is the random, pure-entropy, no-DC-component energy interchange that we've interpreted as the uncertainty principle.
@killha1988 Okay, but that's something else entirely. Condensed, is that in this multiverse, our universe is unique and that there are other universes as well that are also unique. That's another theory entirely. It's nothing like the parallel universe theory. For both to be alike, it would have to be that in every multiverse, there are unique universes, but there are also supermultiverses that are groupings of parallel universes for each cluster of universes inside the multiverse. 8S
i love physics and astronmy, way more interesting than chemistry or stuff about nature. its better cos you never know what the universe is like and you can look forward to finding out and learn whats out there
@musikmaniac1 fuck yes... when i was younger i was more interested in nature and shit because i couldnt really understand the idea of matter and the universe it was too much to interest a young mind......... now this quantum physics and astronomy stuff blows me the fuck away.... and this parallel universe shit?? i knew we didnt really matter before because the universe is so big but hearing about this is a straight MINDFUCK!!!!!
@gamarra510 thats what i luv about physics class, when we r introduced to new ideas i get totally mind fucked, and i don't know what up is anymore. but then i get my head around it and it is truly interesting ^^
if there is a multiverse and theres an infinite number of universes then we have instant proof of aliens because everything possible must happen in infinity, so realize when/if they announce "We have proven string theory" aliens exist!
hah. this is something for all of you to think about. if the string theory was true and they were like guitar strings, who do you think is the one that is playing or plucking the strings :D
@aboodk well the analogy is not perfect. they don't mean literally that there are strings being plukced. its similar to that. but these strings vibrate naturally. I'm not 100% sure how exactly these strings vibrate but I don't think ten analogy goes as far as a plucker.
Think about it, how did the universe get created? the big bang? what caused the big bang? and whatever caused the big bang how was that created? and created the thing that created the big bang? God but what created God? Fuck i hope i find this shit out before i die..
But over time, a few conniving individuals started to realize, that they can use this ignorance people had to control them. And slowly over time, religion was born.
It's no coincidence that in pretty much every society since then, the "religious people" were always well taken care of. That even permeates in our society to this day.
I'm skeptical of anyone telling me they have all the answers, and that their world view is the absolute truth and can't be questioned.
Man is the only creature on this planet that is self-aware. I think religion is simply our psyche's way of coming to grips with our own mortality. I believe it's an archaic defense mechanism.
Imagine it, tens of thousands of years ago. Take a look at a member of a tribe. One day he's chasing animals, having sex...normal stuff, days later, he's not moving and smelling bad.
With what little knowledge they had, religion was "their" most logical way to try to come to terms with what happened.
There is this universe. There is something going on, for some reason. Why should something go on at all? Why can't there exist "Nothing" .. is "Nothing" also "Something"...
I think it's funny how religious people will break down your door to teach you about god but yet, you don't see scientists breaking down your door to teach you about the universe.
@mabiniss2 God is the creator of all universes, I am a Muslim and in Quran it mentions about Jinns which lives in a diffrent realm, probably it mentions about a parallel universe, all universes are same God's universes
@mabiniss2 Its fascinating when you try to think about God and the Universe, and when you really consider it, if there was no God how could space be so elegant while at the same time so random and odd, but still keeping order and within laws, then you wonder, where did God come from? Its simply mindboggling but just so interesting. Science is ecstasy and quite addicting.
@mabiniss2 well if there is something like a god, and the bible start believing in parallel universes I think they would say this "there's still one god, but it has the power over every universe".
though the bible is to orthodox and it will take some time to see it completely collapse probably some generations.
@mabiniss2 If there is a "God" he isn't necessarily a material being, more a spiritual phenomenon in another dimension. Afterall, the theory of parallel universes are based on the knowledge that particles can be in more than one place/universe at a time. So I strongly doubt that he'd show up in a parallel universe if he's not made of flesh and bones, not in this dimension at least.
@thepoopfan64 Sir, do you even know what you're talking about at all "GOD DOESN'T REAL" do you really expect someone to take you seriously talking like that "this is a place of science" well I'm sure nobody else here is as illiterate as you are and by the way mister "GOD DOESN'T REAL" how do you know, science is based on facts and theories so tell me please how you would know if he's real or not where's your facts to prove me wrong.
@thepoopfan64 You're not using "internet" talk if that's what you mean by saying, "GOD DOESN'T REAL'' you're just making a fool out of yourself and yes I do know how to use "internet" talk but I want to talk very clear for someone of your capability to understand what I'm writing. I mean I don't blame you some are just slower than others, it's okay.
@randypuntsall haha! this is great, look at you with all your quotation marks xD, I won't even bother arguing back to that, I'm not really making a fool of myself as I'm not the one getting mardi over a comment on youtube, please reply <3
@thepoopfan64 What's really funny is how you think what you're saying is getting me angry or getting to me in anyway when I could honestly say that what you're saying doesn't phase me one bit, I couldn't care less actually I was just trying to correct you. Oh, yeah I almost forgot how old are you if you don't mind me asking.
im with TheCaptainLulz all these backward outdated horrendous religious LOL facktards go and pick a corner and pray. go to a religious channel and spew out you garbage there.
@22IceEye Apparently nowhere in the bible does it say that people will burn in hell just that the sinners will be punished. After all why would a loving God let that happen when its clear that we all just human and far from perfect, and no human will ever be perfect. It would seem such a self-righteous thing to do. Satan's messages often get caught up with biblical text that paint God as this mean punisher when its really not the truth.
A person on this one tiny little planet saying "There is no evidence of god" is like a cell in the center of your liver saying "there's no evidence for humans". Well, no, not from THAT extremely tiny position and point of view! And even if a cell were intelligent, and could go outside the body to see the whole big picture, it wouldn't even know what the hell it was looking at anyway! Neither would we, if we. So even with all the science in the world, still, how the hell do you know?
Why is it that on every scidoc theres religious fucktards that want to vomit their garbage out. Religion is an invisible friend for adults. Grow the fuck up. You (religious) know damn well that your "great argument" is coming from AIG. We've heard all your bullshit before, FUCK OFF! go pray to your invisible friend somewhere else.
@TheCaptainLulz trying to tell a religious person there is no god is like trying to tell a five year old there is no santa or an easter bunny. they are so brainwashed that no matter what they will always believe in a supernatural crap.
@TheCaptainLulz don't be a jerk. i can say that god created everything including parallel universes and you can't give any evidence that can disprove that ..bra
@JhosefL "I have 2000 tonnes of gold in my house. You cant prove I dont!" The falacy you just pulled here is called burden shifting. You have the extraordinary claim, therefore its up to YOU to provide the extraordinary evidence. So where is the evidence...bra
@TheCaptainLulz wow .,,. i can very much prove that you don't have 2000 tonnes of gold in your house .... and you can take your shift burden and marry it
@JhosefL no evidence, dont worry I didnt expect any. there is no evidence for any divine being(s). Go pray somewhere, if you want to waste your time wispering to the air, its your time to waste. Now, fuck off.
And another thing while I'm in a good mood, if a God created all this, the universe we live in, what did he do with his spare time before that? Just wait like Chuck Norris?
@cleverboy2121 Well, I was not debating on god being a person or not but more on the fact that if something was created, that means that there was a beginning and before that ''beginning'', what was there, what was going on, what triggered it and why. My point of view is that there was no beginning. Meaning there was nothing created. The universe and all the parallel ones were always there and will always be there. The only thing changing would be there states. infinite big bangs in cycles.
Now, were is God in that if nothing was created. I'm not saying he doesn't exist. But what is his purpose if nothing was created. Because I don't think everything was ever created. I think life is a cycle and everything in it was always there. Yes, there is beginnings and ends in a cycle but not ''a beginning'' nor ''a end''. Anyways...
What's the fuss about the earth's distance from the sun? Shit, the earth's trajectory is doing an ellipse around the sun meaning at some point, the earth is closer and at some other point, it's further away from the sun. The only time we'll burn is when the sun will get into a giant red. But it wont happen tomorrow so please sleep well.
Unfortunatly I do not think time exist in reality,in reality time is rate of disepation of mater or space displacement,can you imagine everything we see is moving or falling in all direction within and without in pure space in relatively very high speed,much faster than speed of light but these forces cancel each other out and our body is used to this monsterous speed,but the small diffrence in these directions has caused the atomes to lose their energy into the pure space,and caused expantion??
What about the invisible world - how can the mathmatics people think they can describe something this big with hidden dimensions and have...an accurate picture?
there is no big bang ... in Islam we belive that this delict and organizied world we live in was not a result of big accident ... if this world was an auniverse accident how come its so organized and well calculated ,,, even the distance between the sun and earth is so acurate to the extent that if we were closer to the sun by few centimeters the earth wold be burnned ... God created all ... and by the way ,,, there is an after life were we will be accounted for our actions
@catecolamain Islam compliments the Big Bang theory. Scientific terms big accident = God said "let it be" and everything was created instantaneously and not created bit by bit. Cos Time, matter and space were created in the same instant - Theory of relativity. Its okay for the scientist to believe it was an accident, cos you dont expect a scientist to take the "God created" approach, do you?
No dear It does not , Allah told us that he has the well and power to say be to whatever he wants and it would be by his word , but he also told us that he created the world in 6 days, and created human at last, and by the way ,,, God’s timing differs than ours ,,, so don’t think about it in human calculations
@catecolamain I must point out your clearly mistaken then. The Bible says 6 days. The Quran does not say anything about no. of days. I am sorry I don't have time to get you the reference verse. Also I would like to point out "Allah" is an arabic word with the meaning = Creator of time, space and matter.
Dear, we don’t only take our understanding and roles from Qur’an , because -for example- in Qur’an we have the general roles and the description of these general roles are in (Hadieth), which is the saying, acting, and approval of our profit Mohammad, because we believe that he speak and did only what god order him to do. And he was the one who told us that he created the world in 7 days. And the meaning for Allah in Arabic, is God. I am Arab and I know my language best :)
@catecolamain@catecolamain You have arrived at the conclusion Allah means God without paying attn to the meaning of God and how it has changed over time(God is often used in terms like Godfather, "he is like God!"godly, godliness, God-like, etc.) You are forgetting my dear friend Hadieth is not a word of Allah. Quran is. The Heavens and earth were created in 6 ayaams (very long period) and it was simultaneous. I stand corrected.
I disagree with you in that. The word God means the worshiped. He has the ultimate power and never to be compared to any other. And Hadieth is not a word of Allah, but it’s the word and acting of his prophet Mohammad as I mentioned before (please go back and read it)
And still it’s to be taking as God’s words because prophet Mohammad never speaks of his own mind, all in the correct references of Hadieth is a revelation from God. Even in Qur’an it is mentioned (وما ينطق عن الهوى إن هو إلا وحي يوحىِ) and the translation is (Nor does he speak of passion that is only a Revelation revealed). And again the whole world was created in 7 days. And man was created in the last hour of the 7th day.
@catecolamain Congratulations about the degree, it still doesn't change the fact that your religion is misogynistic and violent, but hey, most abrahamic religions are.
First, thank you for your congratulations. Second, the only fact here that you are so arrogant and somewhat ignorant to judge a religion you know nothing about it. What do you know about Islam. Don’t tell me what do Muslims do, till me about Islam itself, there is a huge difference between what Muslims do and what Islam is. If you belong to a religion, that doesn’t mean that you commit to it.
For example, we believe in Islam that women have the right to vote for a president selection, but in my country even men does not have that privilege. Also, it doesn’t mean I’m not proud of my country, but I realize what good and what bad in it, and I try my best to bring more to it.
@catecolamain Also want to point out God is not bound by time. God can see past present future at the same time. So there is no such thing as Gods timing.
Also dear, yes I expect that scientists to believe in God, because they can see the evidence of a creator in every field. The much they know about the world the much they realize that it is not a coincidence nor an accident
@catecolamain What you just expressed is called the 'fine tuning' argument. I have refuted this argument so many times its not funny, and they always say that if the earth was a few centimetres closer to the sun it would be burned. Ignoring the fact that the earth rotates at a slight angle I can tell you that the earth could be 30% closer or 30% further from the sun and still be habitable. The distance from the sun to the earth is roughly 149,597,871 km...cntd
If you don’t believe that such paragraph can be formed by accident, so how come you believe that your body is an accident or a random chemical reaction???? Islam push us to think more about our body and the world around us and encourages critical thinking,,,, just be open mind and think about it.
O.K. let’s not talk about earth or sun .. what about your own body? Is not it created in a very special and specific way ? can you tell me how come do you believe that the complicated and function directed body cells of different kinds are placed in the right place and work in human benefit were created by accident ? If I told you that a group of cards containing random alphabets fell down from a table and by accident they formed a well formed paragraph would you believe it ?
@catecolamain That is where evolution comes into play. We are not an accident, we are the by product of natural selection. Evolution is *not* comparable to cards falling off a desk, it is more comparable to giving a child who cannot read a set of alphabet cards and asking them to make a sentence, then each year asking them to try again and again, each year the sentences become more advanced.
What do you mean with natural selection? If you mean that nature is the one who started everything by a single cell and so on,, it is unreasonable because nature has no well nor means ,, nature itself was created by God ,, so how come an inanimate can choose, select, create in such fine order, and encourage development?! And if you mean with natural selection something else please clarify it for me.
By the way, in Islam we believe that God created man as he is now and not as a monkey nor single cell, and we believe that God honored man by brain and knowledge since the very beginning of his creation. First man was not a cave man first man was a discoverer and a farmer who knew all from God’s teaching and guidance.
@catecolamain You obviously don't have the slightest clue about evolution, so there really is no point in me arguing with you. Have fun and good luck with your misogynistic, violent religion.
First of all, I thought we were in a polite, open mind, and civilized discussion, but you proved to me that politeness, open mind and civilization is not connected to a way of living or a life style. Your believes are different than mine, so what? Why should I believe in what you believe in; and why would you believe in what I do believe in? I never asked you to do so.
Second, I know all about the evolution theory, but for me it’s just a theory, I don’t believe it. So what right you have to call me an ignorant just because I have my own opinion, isn’t this an intellectual terrorism? A terrorist is a person who justifies attacking another by any mean just because he/she disagree with on a believe. Isn’t that what just happened from you?
@catecolamain You said "I know all about the evolution theory, but for me it’s just a theory.".
You also said you have a master's degree...obviously it isn't science related (no offense meant). You are referring to the definition of theory as 'an unproven conjecture' but this simply isn't the case. The theory of evolution would refer to the scientific definition of theory which is completely different. (cont)
@catecolamain The definition for 'theory' in a scientific context is "a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural world; an organized system of accepted knowledge that applies in a variety of circumstances to explain a specific set of phenomena; "theories can incorporate FACTS and LAWS and tested hypotheses"; 'true in fact and theory'." (cont)
@catecolamain Here is another example: "a logical, systematic set of principles or explanation that has undergone testing or validation from careful observations and has stood up against attempts to prove it false. A scientific theory can be used to make a variety of predictions of what will happen under different circumstances."
You cannot say "It's ONLY a theory" when you are speaking of the scientific meaning of theory.
@CynicalSkeptic1 Standing up against attempts to prove it false doesn't make it true. Invisible Pink Unicorn. Evolution is not proven, it just 'makes sense'. There are numerous ways of explaining what evolution explains. Actually, I've never seen an animal change into another over time. I've seen them change (become taller, faster, etc), but not turn into another animal.
@CynicalSkeptic1 If evolution theory were accurate, wouldn't bacteria (which have a generational period equivalent to humans of 20 mins) have evolved into different organisms by now? Bacteria can go through the equivalent of millions of human years in a measurable time frame (a time sufficient enough to observe evolution in were it happening). They have not evolved. Care to explain?
@ddubeba Wha? Where'd you "learn" that about bacteria? You know there's different types, yea? Each have different lifespans. But, bacteria & viruses do EVOLVE pretty fast. I mean, that's why new viruses pop up every couple years. B/c we're 1 of the most prominent organisms on the planet, trial & error of a virus over time will create a strain that's good at infecting, & sometimes great at killing us. Although the latter is arguably not a good strain b/c it kills itself when it destroys its host.
@BlueMaxx86 Right. Viruses mutate and adapt. But do they turn into different, multi-cellular organisms? I've never heard of that. Again, I've never heard of animals turning into different animals the way they should under the theory of evolution. If, like history supposes, bacteria evolved into multicellulars, then various animals, shouldn't bacteria be undergoing the process of evolution into more complex animals instead of slightly different single-celled organisms?
@ddubeba Sir, apparently you have no understanding of evolution....let me help you out. Evolution is agreed upon by the vast majority of relevant scientists (completely dwarfing any contradictory viewpoint)....and is also frequently utilized in numerous fields of scientific study. I will post a few (and I have many more) examples of exactly how evolution is ONLY rejected when it conflicts with religious bias.
@ddubeba James McCarter of Divergence Incorporated states that the work of 2001 Nobel Prize winner Leland Hartwell which has substantial implications for combating cancer relied heavily on the use of evolutionary knowledge and predictions. McCarter points out that 47 of the last 50 Nobel Prizes in medicine or physiology also depended on the use of EVOLUTIONARY theory.
@ddubeba In fact, EVOLUTION is being put to practical use in industry and widely used on a DAILY basis by researchers in medicine, biochemistry, molecular biology, and genetics to both formulate hypotheses about biological systems for the purposes of experimental design, as well as to rationalize observed data and prepare applications.
@ddubeba Belief in creationism is inversely correlated to education; only 22% of those with post-graduate degrees believe in strict creationism. In 2006, New Scientist reported that almost 2/3 of Americans believe they share less than half their genes with "monkeys", when in fact the figure is between 95--99% depending on the primate.
@ddubeba The level of support for creationism among relevant scientists is minimal. Only 700 out of 480,000 U.S. earth and life scientists gave credence to creationism in 1987,[21] representing about 0.146% of relevant scientists. Darwin Dissenters represent about 0.0157% of the US biologists that existed in 1999.
@ddubeba Many Creationists prefer to state that Micro-evolution is valid and Macro-evolution is not. The only reason that Micro-E is accepted by Creationists is because it has been proven repeatedly under controlled conditions and there are many examples of Micro-E that we can view in everyday life. Macro-E is not accepted since it would then be confirming that Creation was inaccurate. (cont)
@ddubeba "Micro-evolution" and "Macro-evolution" are not recognized as sub-groups of evolution by the biological scientific community...there is only "evolution". PubMed(dot)gov reports that there are 179 publications on "Macro-E", 341 publications on "Micro-E" and 247,308 publications on "evolution". Even the "platypus" has 414 publications...so there are more articles about one animal than Micro-E or Macro-E.
@ddubeba We cannot possibly 'prove' what is considered Macro-E because these changes take place over tens or hundreds of thousands of years. Yet, there is no mechanism which limits genetic change over time. What the two categories truly signify is the limits of any particular human's *belief*. This would be considered a non-existent division between 'believable' and 'unbelievable' based on religious 'faith' from a 2,000 year old holy book.
@ddubeba Atomic Theory, Theory of Matter and Energy, Cell Theory, Germ Theory, Theory of Plate Tectonics, Theory of Evolution, Theory of Quantum Mechanics, Theory of Relativity, Theory of Light Energy, Theory of Electromagnetism, Theory of Radioactivity, Theory of Molecular Bonds, Theory of Homeostasis, Theory of Gravity, etc..
These are all theories also...but only evolution and the Big Bang are disputed. The reason is because they conflict with a 2,000 year old holy book.

Could the parallel universes of Hugh Everett and the multiple dimension of String Theory be future possibilities of what might happen within our one three dimensional Universe? A dynamic Universe that we can interact with creating our own future!

Jenab7 8 months ago
The stars will eventually all be burned out, with no more hydrogen left to make more stars with. This stelliferous period of our universe will last until the universe is about 1e14 years old, or about 10000 times older than the universe is now. But even that is a lot less than 1e100 years. So, really, stars and galaxies are brief phenomena when compared with the total lifespan of the universe. It just isn't quite as brief as baryon synthesis was, just after the Big Bang.
Jenab7 8 months ago
Science is considerably more limited than informed speculation is. With science, you only know what tests show you. Where you can't apply any tests, you don't have any scientific knowledge. But you can do informed speculation about things you can't test, by using inductive reasoning that is based on knowledge that you got from testing other stuff.
Jenab7 8 months ago
Consider the youth of the universe we're living in. Consider that the conservation of energy, which probably ought to be perfect even at the quantum level, isn't perfect. It has a flaw that lets energy appear and disappear, provided that the amount of energy is small enough and that the fluctuations occur quickly enough. Consider that quantum mechanics keeps predicting some sort of "many worlds" scenario, and that in a sense your reality depends on what information has become available to you.
Jenab7 8 months ago
Out of such considerations comes the multiverse hypothesis, which you can't test for the same reason you can't really find out what's going on inside the event horizon of a black hole or outside the cosmic horizon of the universe. Communication is limited to the speed of light, and space can flow or expand faster than that. But the multiverse idea is plausible, even though it isn't provable. It's consistent with what we know, even though we don't know enough to be SURE that it's the truth.
Jenab7 8 months ago
Most of nature is in the default state of existence, where vacuum fluctuations are the most significant events. But there are exceptional parts where that isn't true, and these anomalies (like our universe) are partitioned from the rest of nature by some sort of information barrier, like an event horizon or a cosmic horizon. Across those barriers, the only interaction is the random, pure-entropy, no-DC-component energy interchange that we've interpreted as the uncertainty principle.

mabiniss2 8 months ago
@Lunelitius Mindboggling isnt it? 8) By the way, nice pic!
mabiniss2 8 months ago
@killha1988 Okay, but that's something else entirely. Condensed, is that in this multiverse, our universe is unique and that there are other universes as well that are also unique. That's another theory entirely. It's nothing like the parallel universe theory. For both to be alike, it would have to be that in every multiverse, there are unique universes, but there are also supermultiverses that are groupings of parallel universes for each cluster of universes inside the multiverse. 8S

Jdiggy77 10 months ago
Man is the only creature on this planet that is self-aware. I think religion is simply our psyche's way of coming to grips with our own mortality. I believe it's an archaic defense mechanism.
Imagine it, tens of thousands of years ago. Take a look at a member of a tribe. One day he's chasing animals, having sex...normal stuff, days later, he's not moving and smelling bad.
With what little knowledge they had, religion was "their" most logical way to try to come to terms with what happened.
Jdiggy77 10 months ago
There is this universe. There is something going on, for some reason. Why should something go on at all? Why can't there exist "Nothing" .. is "Nothing" also "Something"...

@mabiniss2 Its fascinating when you try to think about God and the Universe, and when you really consider it, if there was no God how could space be so elegant while at the same time so random and odd, but still keeping order and within laws, then you wonder, where did God come from? davedavedaveannoy1 8 months ago
@mabiniss2 well if there is something like a god, and the bible start believing in parallel universes I think they would say this "there's still one god, but it has the power over every universe".

GOD is not a person or a creature, GOD is everything, GOD is IT..
cleverboy2121 11 months ago
@cleverboy2121 Well, I was not debating on god being a person or not but more on the fact that if something was created, that means that there was a beginning and before that ''beginning'', what was there, what was going on, what triggered it and why. My point of view is that there was no beginning. Meaning there was nothing created. The universe and all the parallel ones were always there and will always be there. The only thing changing would be there states. infinite big bangs in cycles.
Marinoninewb 11 months ago
Now, were is God in that if nothing was created. I'm not saying he doesn't exist. But what is his purpose if nothing was created. Because I don't think everything was ever created. What's the fuss about the earth's distance from the sun? Unfortunatly I do not think time exist in reality,in reality time is rate of disepation of mater or space displacement,can you imagine everything we see is moving or falling in all direction within and without in pure space in relatively very high speed,much faster than speed of light but these forces cancel each other out and our body is used to this monsterous speed,but the small diffrence in these directions has caused the atomes to lose their energy into the pure space,and caused expantion??

there is no big bang ... in Islam we belive that this delict and organizied world we live in was not a result of big accident ... if this world was an auniverse accident how come its so organized and well calculated ,,, even the distance between the sun and earth is so acurate to the extent that if we were closer to the sun by few centimeters the earth wold be burnned ... God created all ... and by the way ,,, there is an after life were we will be accounted for our actions
catecolamain 1 year ago
@catecolamain Islam compliments the Big Bang theory. Scientific terms big accident = God said "let it be" and everything was created instantaneously and not created bit by bit. Cos Time, matter and space were created in the same instant - Theory of relativity. Its okay for the scientist to believe it was an accident, cos you dont expect a scientist to take the "God created" approach, do you?
metalheadkicks 1 year ago
@metalheadkicks
No dear It does not , Allah told us that he has the well and power to say be to whatever he wants and it would be by his word , but he also told us that he created the world in 6 days, and created human at last, and by the way ,,, God’s timing differs than ours ,,, so don’t think about it in human calculations
catecolamain 1 year ago
@catecolamain I must point out your clearly mistaken then. The Bible says 6 days. The Quran does not say anything about no. of days. I am sorry I don't have time to get you the reference verse. Also I would like to point out "Allah" is an arabic word with the meaning = Creator of time, space and matter.
metalheadkicks 11 months ago
@metalheadkicks
I am Arab and I know my language best :)
catecolamain 11 months ago
@catecolamain @catecolamain You have arrived at the conclusion Allah means God without paying attn to the meaning of God and how it has changed over time(God is often used in terms like Godfather, "he is like God!"godly, godliness, God-like, etc.) You are forgetting my dear friend Hadieth is not a word of Allah. Quran is. The Heavens and earth were created in 6 ayaams (very long period) and it was simultaneous. I stand corrected.
metalheadkicks 11 months ago
@metalheadkicks
I disagree with you in that. The word God means the worshiped. He has the ultimate power and never to be compared to any other. And Hadieth is not a word of Allah, but it’s the word and acting of his prophet Mohammad as I mentioned before (please go back and read it)
catecolamain 11 months ago
@metalheadkicks

UnoImpius 11 months ago
@UnoImpius
If you belong to a religion, that doesn’t mean that you commit to it.
catecolamain 11 months ago
@UnoImpius
For example, we believe in Islam that women have the right to vote for a president selection, but in my country even men does not have that privilege. Also, it doesn’t mean I’m not proud of my country, but I realize what good and what bad in it, and I try my best to bring more to it.
catecolamain 11 months ago

Dear, I agree with you that God can see past, present, and future at the same time. I only have expressed it the rong way.
catecolamain 11 months ago
@metalheadkicks
Also dear, yes I expect that scientists to believe in God, because they can see the evidence of a creator in every field. The much they know about the world the much they realize that it is not a coincidence nor an accident
catecolamain 1 year ago
@catecolamain Scientists can believe in God thats true. However they cannot use their belief into proving something scientifically.
metalheadkicks 11 months ago
@catecolamain What you just expressed is called the 'fine tuning' argument. I have refuted this argument so many times its not funny, and they always say that if the earth was a few centimetres closer to the sun it would be burned. Ignoring the fact that the earth rotates at a slight angle I can tell you that the earth could be 30% closer or 30% further from the sun and still be habitable. The distance from the sun to the earth is roughly 149,597,871 km...cntd
UnoImpius 1 year ago
@catecolamain this would mean the earth could be 4,4879361.1km closer or further away from the sun, not 'just a few centimetres'.
UnoImpius 1 year ago
@UnoImpius
If you don’t believe that such paragraph can be formed by accident, so how come you believe that your body is an accident or a random chemical reaction???? Islam push us to think more about our body and the world around us and encourages critical thinking,,,, just be open mind and think about it.
catecolamain 1 year ago
@UnoImpius
O.K. let’s not talk about earth or sun .. what about your own body? Is not it created in a very special and specific way ? can you tell me how come do you believe that the complicated and function directed body cells of different kinds are placed in the right place and work in human benefit were created by accident ? If I told you that a group of cards containing random alphabets fell down from a table and by accident they formed a well formed paragraph would you believe it ?
catecolamain 1 year ago
@catecolamain That is where evolution comes into play. We are not an accident, we are the by product of natural selection. Evolution is *not* comparable to cards falling off a desk, it is more comparable to giving a child who cannot read a set of alphabet cards and asking them to make a sentence, then each year asking them to try again and again, each year the sentences become more advanced.
UnoImpius 11 months ago
@UnoImpius
What do you mean with natural selection? If you mean that nature is the one who started everything by a single cell and so on,, it is unreasonable because nature has no well nor means ,, nature itself was created by God ,, so how come an inanimate can choose, select, create in such fine order, and encourage development?! And if you mean with natural selection something else please clarify it for me.
catecolamain 11 months ago
@UnoImpius
By the way, in Islam we believe that God created man as he is now and not as a monkey nor single cell, and we believe that God honored man by brain and knowledge since the very beginning of his creation. First man was not a cave man first man was a discoverer and a farmer who knew all from God’s teaching and guidance.
catecolamain 11 months ago
@catecolamain You obviously don't have the slightest clue about evolution, so there really is no point in me arguing with you. Have fun and good luck with your misogynistic, violent religion.
UnoImpius 11 months ago
@UnoImpius
First of all, I thought we were in a polite, open mind, and civilized discussion, but you proved to me that politeness, open mind and civilization is not connected to a way of living or a life style. Your believes are different than mine, so what? Why should I believe in what you believe in; and why would you believe in what I do believe in? I never asked you to do so.
catecolamain 11 months ago
@UnoImpius
Isn’t that what just happened from you?
catecolamain 11 months ago
@catecolamain You said "I know all about the evolution theory, but for me it’s just a theory.".
You also said you have a master's degree...obviously it isn't science related (no offense meant). You are referring to the definition of theory as 'an unproven conjecture' but this simply isn't the case. The theory of evolution would refer to the scientific definition of theory which is completely different. (cont)
CynicalSkeptic1 11 months ago
@catecolamain The definition for 'theory' in a scientific context is "a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural world; an organized system of accepted knowledge that applies in a variety of circumstances to explain a specific set of phenomena; "theories can incorporate FACTS and LAWS and tested hypotheses"; 'true in fact and theory'." @catecolamain Here is another example: "a logical, systematic set of principles or explanation that has undergone testing or validation from careful observations and has stood up against attempts to prove it false.

Care to explain?
ddubeba 10 months ago
@ddubeba Wha? Where'd you "learn" that about bacteria? You know there's different types, yea? Each have different lifespans. But, bacteria & viruses do EVOLVE pretty fast. I mean, that's why new viruses pop up every couple years. B/c we're 1 of the most prominent organisms on the planet, trial & error of a virus over time will create a strain that's good at infecting, & sometimes great at killing us. Although the latter is arguably not a good strain b/c it kills itself when it destroys its host.
BlueMaxx86 10 months ago

CynicalSkeptic1 10 months ago

CynicalSkeptic1 10 months ago

CynicalSkeptic1 10 months ago
