The Germans know techno. If you like techno go to Germany, Went there and there artists are simply amazing. Its odd though it seems germans have a different view on techno. It has elements of Trance and other genres. Listen to technobase.fm if you can get it in the UK.

As far as Dubstep is concerned i think its whats bad with the EDM genres right now. To begin with i liked it but it all sounds the same with the over loud bassline.

@BestDubstepVids You're absolutely right, theres so many sub genres and shit like that it's hard to tell a difference. I might even be wrong haha, but it sounds about right(I'm not really big on pure Techno).

Yeah, I'm not really big on the super repetitive club music. If I was actually in a club, it wouldn't be bad, but I don't see how it's especially enjoyable to just listen to for fun. I prefer dubstep and drum and bass, but that's pretty obvious ;)

@BestDubstepVids House is defined by a four-on-the-floor kick beat with snares on the second and fourth kicks of a measure; thereby leaving it open for many styles to be created such as progressive house, hard house, and tribal house. Techno, a different subgenre of electronic music, focuses more on beats (with no real defining beat) and presents a stale and futuristic imagery (at least that is what the Detrot founders intended).
