  • The mass murders commonly know as the christian church, torturing & burning women,

may you one day admit your guilt.

  • Lets witch again like we did last summer

  • Not All Witches Are Wiccan, And Not All Wiccans Are Witches.

  • THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU!!! I have been looking for this since forever. I have asked evert pagan and witch on the net about it but no one knew of it. I had it on VHS but it broke ages ago. Thankyou so much for finding and hosting it.

  • If u practice wicca your a witch

  • whats the difference between witch and wicca ?

  • liked this video -- liked it too for sharing with me

  • Well, for one, Witches can be males or female, but yes... they were mostly female in the old days.

  • I like her look--she's proud of her crone status and she has earned it.

  • Laurie needs a makeover...looks like the typical old crone.

  • @1955JAFO She is a crone, and we should respect her for it. We all have our times, the maidens, the mothers, the crone.

  • 'Witch comes from an ancient word 'wicca' which is an ancient religion' This is not true, as one will find out if they read into wicca. Wicca is a very new path of wirtchcraft, which came from the ancient religions. Not meaning to be one of these 'annoying know it alls' but it does irritate me a little when people believe wicca is the true one and only way of the craft. In terms to shamanism and the druids, wicca is still in infancy.

Thank you for posting, though, i enjoyed the rest =D xx

  • Red Feather says... "dont be ridicalicalicalous!"

  • oh wow Anjelica huston!! I LOVE HER!! where the heck has she been?????

  • Male energy is part of the Goddess too. I don't believe in gods just in the Goddessess.

  • This is quite misleading. Wicca was never an ancient religion, it evolved from Gardnerian Witchcraft which was never exactly a feminist religion like this video makes out, but about male and female unity. I think it's wrong to suggest that all witches follow this Wicca stuff, as well. There are many different witchcraft traditions.

  • @PaganWarrior100 its true that in ancient times they worshipped female and male, but think you are using the term feminist in a wrong way. Feminisim is about male and female equality, so witchcraft today is feminist because there is equality. But it is true that wicca or ancient paganism is not exclusivley female, even though some traditions are doing that today

  • @luscioussensual Feminism used to be about equal rights for females, but now it's just about hating men :P Perhaps it was wrong to use the term feminist to describe what is in this video, I was thinking about the man-hating lesbians who get involved in Witchcraft because they think it's all about goddess worship and nothing else.

  • @PaganWarrior100 feminism is still about equal rights for people, some take it to a man hating level, but thats not they way all feminists are. Imagine how it feels when so many relgions say that women are lower or should be submissive to men, finally a religion comes along and says that the female energy means something too? I admit women can get carried away, and it is not right at all. But imagine how good that feels to finally feel like you are worth something. thats why women get excited

  • @PaganWarrior100 I think the female and male energy should be worshipped equally. If women exclude the male energy, they are no better than the people that exclude the female energy and that doesnt solve anything. I just want people to understand why some women get carried away. It just feels so good to see a religion that says females are not lower that helps with so much of the sexism. We should not treat men badly either, and I am truly sorry for the reverse discrimination against men.

  • @PaganWarrior100 There are male gods that i love and believe in, that I would die for if I had to, so I dont hate men at all. Its just that women have dealt with so much oppression since the beginning. No where in history have women had as much equality as men. This is why its so overwhelming when we see just a bit of hope, and once again, we should not do anything bad against men, but do you understand where I am coming from? Sorry to ramble, Blessed be. I truly love men, women and all life

  • I love these Video's !!! It's about the Real Craft of The Wise! :)

  • Janet is still an amazingly beautiful creature; age does not tarnish her but rather it perfects her.

  • YES! I love this video already, and I've only watched 12 seconds so far~~! Thank you for posting! )O(

  • PROUD TO BE A WICCAN BLESSED BE

  • It's so annoying how they don't mention anything about Witches who are male. I understand that it's "Lifetime" channel, but i mean really.

    )O(

  • Thanks for posting this video, I especially enjoyed seeing and listening to Janet Farrar.

  • You are welcome :-)

  • I Love Her. She is a very classy Lady.

  • very interesting video

  • Before anyone jumps to conclusions, no ancient culture worshiped only female divinities. They worshped both male and female and so does Wicca, today.

  • I know. I tried to cut out some of the misinformation. (with little success!) It amazes me that even in 2009 folks still believe that.

  • @RivaWitch I loved your video i am a wiccan and proud to be 1

  • @RivaWitch I'd hesitate to say that "Wicca" was the Old Religion - it was Witchcraft. "Wicca" was a term for a male Witch, while "Wicce" referred to a female Witch, with "Wiccan" being the pluralized form. Wicca as a modern religion, is based off of Witchcraft. They are not exactly the same, but similar.

  • @celticbattleaxe I never said it was.

  • @RivaWitch I don't mean you - the people in the video. Sorry if it sounded like I was targeting you.

    Blessed be! )0(

  • @celticbattleaxe Ohh LOL the post came to me as "@RivaWitch" I thought it was a response! Sorry :-)

  • @RivaWitch It's OK :)

I did the same thing about twice already.

    Blessed be! )0(

  • @ManelinhoAraujinho thank you! )0(

  • @ManelinhoAraujinho That's not true. Do some research.

  • @imlukeswife83 I have, for 6 years. So YOU do some research before posting biased comments. Marija Gimbutas' theories about peaceful tribes that worshiped only Goddesses has no evidence behind it. Back in the Neolithic, people knew very well that both males and females were needed to continue life, and that reflected the nature of the ancient polytheistic cosmologies - many Gods and Goddesses.

  • @ManelinhoAraujinho It's obvious 6 years were not enough. Marija Gimbutas theories are proved facts. Don't try to sell what's not true.

  • @imlukeswife83 Very well then, believe in what you want...

  • Thanks for posting!!

  • i though witches didnt believe in hell or heaven

  • Wiccans don't believe in Hell or Heaven, trust me.

  • LOL, they don't . . . he was kidding.

  • Thank you sooo much for posting this! I remember seeing this when I was a little girl and have been looking for it ever since. Yay!

  • your a diamond x x

  • OMG gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh "Witchcraft comes from an ancient word, Wicca, a folk religion" aagggghhhhh when will people stop pretending Wicca is an ancient religion? I thought I was gonna like this vid, but its retarded. SO retarded!

  • No, Wicca is BASED off ancient religions

  • @rikuizo Mostly from the Celts.

  • I agree. It is a nice video overall, except this retarted phrase "Wicca, a folk religion."

I thought that Wicca means wizard and Wicce means witch. Wicca for male and Wicce for female.. Anyways.

  • The word Wicca is actually Old English for a male Witch, but it would be pronounced "Witchah". It was never the name for an ancient religion.

  • Yeah, this video is pretty much out of date so whatever. :)

By the way, are you still thinking of opening an online shop? It would be awesome. ^_^

  • yeah totally! it will be happening soon.... n_n

  • yay^^ I will sure buy something from there. can't wait for it to open! :D

  • Yeah that part got me to say wait a minute.

  • I warned you it was outdatted! I was hoping to just get clip of the interviews. LOL

  • man isnt it weird how much we have learned since then!!!

  • Tell me about it. I have a more recent Bio-Documentary on Witches. I want to post.

I will post the whole series! It's a little better! LOL

  • Indeed, we now know that Witches *do* in fact make contact with the so called Devil (grins)

    Wassail !

  • I am sooo happy you uploaded this! You have no idea how many subs you just earned right there. lol. If only it didn't cut out. lol. Thanky ou for uploading this.

  • Glad you liked it. I have a few Documentaries that I want to upload. Hopefully soon!

  • Anjelica Hustan, perfect narrator for a special on witches.

  • I thought that was Vivian speaking lol, who better to narrate than the lady of the lake herself lmao

  • WOW you rock lol! I've seen a clip of this before in another documentary, it's nice to finally see it in it's entirety!

Even though I don't care for Laurie Cabot, but it's hard to deny how much she has done to bring Wicca and Witchcraft into the public eye without the nasty connotations.

  • Trust me I'm no LC fan either!!

  • You know, several people are telling me that Laurie Cabot is rapidly fading out. I have heard the same, but the reasons why might surprise you. lol. I can't truly say, because I have never met her, but it's a thought. lol
