Some boxes are duds and release bombs, but if you constantly get bombs instead of a Power Flower/Feather, then you must've lost your cap. Without a cap, you can't use Power Flowers. Aside from Yoshi, of course. Just head back to the course you lost your cap at and you should see it on the touch screen.

Speaking of stuff in the trees, I know for a fact that in the original SM64, in the courtyard in the front of the castle, there is an extra life in one of the trees. Go to the back row of trees and climb the second one from the right near the waterfall. Do a handstand and you'll get it. I don't know if it's in this game though.

however it does look murky, depending on water pollution levels.

DO NOT open your eyes in salt water if you're not trained!!! opening your eyes in pool water does make them hurt slightly due to the chlorinated water, but opening your eyes in distilled water is painless.

yes, it's not ggod to leave your eyes open in water for long term periods, but imagine a pool full of Clearasil...oh man! now that, you can open your eyes in!

hey superskarmory, i'm not sure if anyone has told you this or if you will be up for it after this walkthrough, but for your next walkthrough you should try mario and luigi bowser's inside story. as difficult and long as that game is, you can make it funny and enjoyable. but this walkthrough is so funny. i can wait to see more.

you can do it with mario too superskarm...just hit the little exclamation box and you get turned into a balloon by grabbing the flower you don't even have to fill the water all the way up...just a fresh reminder... :)

why does superskamory think you can only beat the red coin challenge with luigi? the original game didn't even have luigi in it! therefore, you had to do it with mario. you just have to jump in the painting at its highest point and the water will be higher than you could ever set it in the level itself. then you can just jump right into the tunnel no matter who you are.
