Hey can somebody help me? I got the SF4 TE madcatz fightsick, but i also have a retrocompatible "fat" ps3, and play some games for the PS2 on it, like Guilty Gear, and Capcom vs SNK 2, KOF, etc, and i dont know why but the madcatz arcade stick doesnt work when i want to play this PS2 games on my PS3, is there anything i could do to change it ot somebody know which arcade stick should i get? to play ps2 games on a retrocompatible ps3 D: SORRY BAD ENGLISH

setting buttons to turbo means it will press the button for u while u hold down, like when you dont wan to repeatly press the button, u can use the turbo mode for it.

20 times a second = buttons pressed for 20 times per second when u hold down the turbo(ed) button.

Hori Pro SA All Sanwa Parts really nice stick if you can get your hands on one that is Kinda plain looking tho I would put some kind of art work Design on it 2 give it that final touch But I would say its at the same level as a Street Fighter 4 Tournament stick since both use Sanwa Parts but if I had to pick one over the other I would have 2 go with the SF4 TE Fight Stick Why u ask well I like the art work on it for one And i like the nice tuck away compartment on the back of the stick as well

I have the same TV and it has a 5ms lag which is relatively very good and I also have the Madcatz Tournament fightstick and I was surprise to see the Hori lagging to bad on this while mine it's pretty instant. There's a game mode on the TV but it reduces greatly the brightness for some reason. I have gamemode Off to have the best colors and still my TE stick doesnt lag like that i don't understand

It is as good as those, all it is missing is that nifty cord holder the Mad Cats TE has, but this or if you mod the The HRAP 3 or EX 3 they are all on the same level. Some would say this is even better because TE still has the mad cats wiring, and screws and such. which some have had problems with. I haven't heard any about any problems with guts of the Hori sticks.

Notice the lag in responsiveness. The characters do the moves noticeably AFTER he taps the buttons or joystick. Perhaps all controllers do this, perhaps not. I'm not sure.

By the way, I own the entry level PS3 Hori Fighting Stick and the Sega Virtua Stick High Grade.

Because the entry level Hori is utterly unresponsive, I'm looking for the Hori Arace Pro to replace it, but seems as if that's lagging a bit too. But at least it's heavy and won't fly all over the place like my Hori.

also this is one of the best possible sticks for sale out there unless you go custom or buy the new TE SFIV stick.

The HRAP3 looks BEAUTIFUL. Reminds me of the NEO GEO stick. But I got a VSHG and find the square gate too hard to play SF type games with, so I'll hold off on the HRAP3.

I need a North American type stick -- baseball bat with inlined buttons. And true arcade parts without lag, unlike what I hear with x-arcade.

The four buttons. My Sega Virtua Stick High Grade has three on top and three on bottom instead of four.

For now, the VSHG is pretty good. AND EXPENSIVE. Just recently, I'm getting accustomed to the sqaure and curved buttons.

Maybe if I'll go the arcade cabinet route or just wait for a company to start releasing x-arcade style sticks -- without the lag issues and genuine arcade parts.

you can add the bat onto your stick i think if it has the same joystick as the HRAP3. you just have to look around for it. and you can buy a new restrictor plate if you really want to to change it into octagonal or whatever your into
