I'm sorry? This movie was so awful, the special effects looked nice but the writing and the action sequences were just terrible. I mean randomly in the ending Mepheisto goes "hey a deal's a deal, I'll take away your ghost rider powers" and even though Johnny Blaze would normally shit his pants and go "Fuck yes dude!" instead we see him saying "Lolno" like seriously? what the fuck?

Look apparently you've never read a single ghost rider comic book in your whole life so I'm not going to waste my time with you. It was not only terrible as an adaptation but as a movie itself, it had poor character development, it concentrated WAAAYY too much on Johnny Blaze and Roxanne's romance, and it had a poor villain. A movie can have a strong hero but they can NOT have a weak villain.

Ghost Rider looked much more like the comics in this movie. The 2nd movie had an interesting vision, however the bike he rode and jacket he wore were lame. The 2nd movie was painful to watch, the directors clearly were not fans of the series. They turned him into a really cheesy horror figure somewhere between Jason and Hellraiser.

Don't get me wrong; the humour was still there and cool darker story was an interesting plot to follow, but the JACKET and BIKE!! OMG!!! I didn't have the heart to watch it. The trailer showing the state of Ghost Rider was far too embarrassing for me to go watch it. I liked nothing but "pissing fire" in the trailer. Sigh.

@xin0 No I get it. Their reason for beating him up was weak, but I honestly didn't even have a problem with it. As I said it was a reason to put a fight scene in, so I was fine with it. It was the lack of action in the movie that was the problem. Every single fight scene in the movie was like this- a lot of build up and then nothing happens. This scene doesn't even really bother me, as it's just him getting his jacket, but it's a perfect example of what went wrong in all of these sequences.

the moment he walked in to that prison you knew ghostrider was gonna come out, but not much happens when he does. the scene was over in an instant. ghostrider's personality isn't explored enough to be interesting either, thus making his "bad ass" moments feel like there's nothing backing them up. The preview for this movie was so bad ass, but apparently it contained every cool scene in the movie. He rides up a building once or twice as promised, but no significant stunts/battles on buildings
