I will stand up when I have to start eating the way you people eat, thats when I will start eating you people. ;~^ I have always hated all of you,i will always hate all of you.
To think that a revolution with arms makes a difference just is not the real answer, because those who fight have their own interest that could be as wrong and as partial as what they are fighting back. It has happen before many times, comunism has never been real because humans are not alll alike, we cannot have a perfect society because, as i said, there always someone who wants more, its the natural part of us calling. But, can we be more than animals? Maybe not but we have to keep trying.
I think it would be reasonable to assert that domination has finally learned a most valuable lesson, the ignorance of which in primitive development was its only option and later became at many times a fatal flaw. That is, that a living human is much more valuable than a dead one. Certainly this age has moved beyond those crude techniques of bookburning and the quillotine. The reigning order seems to find its energy much better invested not in silencing voices, but in creating deaf ears.
I get his point, but there's only one flaw that breaks it apart...Obama is a Christian not Muslim. For seven years when I moved to Chicago I attended the Trinity Church he did . So, for you theory to be correct then Obama would have to be Muslim in order to rule under Muslimic (not a word) Fascism. That was easy .
How to stop fascism - stop buying stuff from coroprations. tell obama at change dottgovvv to end corporatocracy, including omitting HR676 Not for profit not for profit not for profit health care. u may have to say it many times. paraphrasing the websters dictionary, fascism is a tendency toward or actual exercise of dictatorial control. The US is given the illusion of having a choice. Both party candidates are selected by CFR, TLC etc. Those that are not part of the 2 major parties are not even given voice in the debates. The people were 100 to 1 against the bailout of the banksters. We are in a war that is totally unconstitutional. We are complicite in torture and support zionist genocide. Is this who we are?
We really need to keep our eyes and ears peeled and be on our guards. And even if our family and friends disagree or mock us for what we tell them , I think it is worth it. Some of my nearest friends and family members scuff at what I am telling them....but I think people react the way they do, because they deep down know that something is wrong.
hey, i see these ideas having increasingly more salience amongst the people i know to be fairly 'in the mainstream'. right now, people simply cannot deny the reality of their alienation; they can supress or rationalize it, yes, but to their obvious detriment.

but in both u would say only 2x something against the state and you would end up in prison or get shoot. i never seen that someone in the us get in prison for saying "fuck bush". i know that something like this happened in germany in 2004 as some guy said on a SPD meeting "fuck you schröder, your the reason for 7million jobkess people.."
The only reason "free speech" currently exists is because most of the time it doesn't do any good. As soon as those speaking out actually start making a difference, suddenly they no longer have free speech. Google "green washing". It's true.
the concern of socialism/anarchism and anti-authoritarianism has always been the elimination of the root problem: dispossession. from rousseau to marx to debord, the argument is clear and cogent: private property, created and sustained by violence and theft alone needs to be transformed into communal ownership.
now, when was dispossession and expropriation introduced? you guess it, 10,000 years ago in mesopotamia. i.e. civilization=cities=prisons=wage-slavery=hierarchy=food under lock & key etc
I don't see how civilization has to be as described in your comment. After all, its mostly in the eye of the beholder. I think you could call anything where people live and cooperate on a regular basis a civilization.
i would suggest looking up endgame. jensen describes civilization as a culture—that is, a complex of stories, institutions, and artifacts— that both leads to and emerges from the growth of cities, with cities being defined—so as to distinguish them from camps, villages, and so on—as people living more or less permanently in one place in densities high enough to require the routine importation of food and other necessities of life.
I saw a google video of this Jenkins guy. I agree with allot of what he says but ending civilization from the way he appears to be talking about it would end modern medicine and many other great things, don't think I agree with that at all.
He talked about how he could justify destroying a phone tower in the name of the planet and its inhabitants. He goes on to say that any society that had to import things into the community to live was unsustainable and would create hierarchy. I don't think he realizes just how much he benefits from imports. He also said that he asked a tree about eating salmon and the tree said that its ok as long as you perpetuate salmon in the ecosystem. As if consumption of animals is not hierarchy.
Animals are individuals, irreplaceable . We are animals and expect a certain kind of treatment from others based more or less on our ability to suffer. If I can take a thing from its own accord take its life and then use it for my own good then how is that not hierarchy? Its dominance just like any other kind. Taking land is considered hierarchy so why not taking life? If flexing your power to take what is not yours unless you force it away from another isn't hierarchy I don't know what is.
"End:Civ" = unsubscribed. If deric jenson and john zerzan and the rest of you want to run around picking berries, eating roadkill, letting the handicapped die, and dieing from easily treated diseases yourself. More power to you.
You can have my indoor plumping when you can kiss my dead cold ass.
You know what? Two of the biggest killers, heart disease and cancer, are products of civilization. Without civilization, they would be virtually non-existent.
You idiot. Do your research instead of stating false claims. The indigenous of the Sahara dessert, one of the harshest places on the planet, lived into their late 60's. Our current, worldwide average lifespan is only 64 0r 65 (if you want the exact age, Google it), lower than the above mentioned people. Still think it's so bad?
You skip the whole step I'm talking about here. Early humans had short life spans. But in the several thousand of years before civilization, the human lifespan was much longer. However, after the advent of agriculture, the lifespan plunged once again. When I talk about the the inhabitants of the Sahara, the !Kung San, their lifespan was 67, I believe. That's not including those who died as infants, by the way. But if they lived past two, they had a very good chance of living a long life.
From my understanding, tooth decay only became a problem when humans switched to a diet high in carbohydrates following the domestication of grain - an event which many also see as the birth of civilization.
I am confused with the thumbs down. Are you all saying wanting to live feral and free is as retarded as it sounds, or are you all saying you just don't want any outside help with being retarded?
only science made it possible to see that people have heart diseases and cancer. without science you would work on some field, bang, you hit the ground, a not detected heart disease just killed you. (with science & a working health system you would be still alive).
Science helps us see the diseases that are created by civilization. Personally, I'd rather get rid of the diseases than correctly diagnose them using science...
it's undeniable that, regardless of whatever we do, billions of people will die in the imminent inevitable crash of this system. regardless of that, billions of people die constantly because of the system simply existing.
personally, i want to do whatever i can to help the most living things possible. the way i've got it figured, that means taking down civilization.
