  • very2 nice, i love it very much :),

i want to be like this, but i don't know how to be like this :'(

  • @kevinpradipta Thanks. The way to start is to work on some easy blues and jazz tunes and try to improvise slowly. Find a good teacher who plays jazz too if you need some direction. Good luck.

  • Very nice walking song !...

  • i prefer rory gallagher. a little wilder and fun

  • Rory is a different kind of player. This is jazzy blues, and Rory played more of a dirtier blues. I would go so far as to say these guys are apples and oranges.

  • sounds fun :D

  • Man that piano guy is Tristano reincarnated.

  • Great groovy solo. Swings like jazz guitar should swing.

  • NICE, but Where are the Drums?

    I miss them...

  • Cool !

  • nice playing but i could swear eric was mostly note for noteing charlie parker licks from the omni book? eric thoughts comments?

  • Thanks for your comment. Good ear for one of my main influences. In the second chorus of my solo I quoted the second chorus of Billie's Bounce. That's the only direct solo that I quoted purposefully, but our influences do come out in our playing subconsiously. Also, while this tune does appear in the Omnibook. I have done all of my own Charlie Parker transcriptions (see funky folk music on the web). I have done four transcription books on Charlie's music. --Eric

  • excellant. thought that was michael barrymore playing for a second when the other guy came into shot!

  • Beautiful!

  • Thanks!

    --Eric E.
