  • i guess the kraken recieved its water bill

  • chuck norris farted underwater

  • Chuck Norris makes an "Ass Bomb" :'D

  • HURR DURR CHUCK NORRIS BLABLA

  • why don't some people just go suck Chuck Norris's dick.

  • This is real stupidity.

  • 2 days later Godzilla woke up.

  • Chuck Norris' arrival to earth

  • *cough* japan *cough*

  • and chuck norris was born

  • thats Chuck Norris farting

  • whale farted :D

  • Damn whales!

  • hey billy bob, Lets go fishin' son

  • @xfamenx R.I.P little mermaid

  • What's that goddamned fly doing on the screen?Shoo fly shoo!!

Goddamn it! I'm gonna go watch Tortures For Flies XD

  • Spongebob!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

  • Now that's one way to go fishin'. Beats using a rod anyday.

  • people are so dumb, "yeah lets just nuke in the ocean nothing will happen" who knows what all damage that did

  • @splitman: Let's consider, first, that this happened not quite a year after WWII, when most military or civilians didn't have much of a refined taste for ecology, a word coined 20 years later. Second, to their way of thinking, it was just an explosion, only bigger; the radioactive dimension wasn't yet developed. Third, they were continuing the defense of the free world that WWII started, and that was not really too far from wrong, with Stalin in the USSR's saddle. Fourth, what damage?

  • That was one of the most beautiful things ive ever seen.

  • So thats what happened to Atlantis...figures....

  • so did this create a sunami?

  • well, that body of water got radiated/polluted, fags

  • I don't know about you, but I like my fish vaporized.

  • killer seeweeds will spread and take revenge

  • first dynamites,now this!?

  • no we wait for godzilla...

  • that seems kinda bad for the fishes..

  • @000someone0xxx luckily humans dont eat fish

  • Yes but the new mutant fishes will be huge :-)

  • ow a shock wave on land or in the air is bad enough under the watter it must be epicaly devistateing

  • @acm1995 that was LaaaaMe

  • @Mulholland1334 you just say that cause it's the only good joke on this and you didn't say it. hmmm? O_O

  • looks like spongebob ate another bomb pie

  • so thats where my cauliflower went

  • why does the radiation not poison us even if its far away shouldn't the irradiated particulates flow with the currents and spread incredibly far?

  • @TheMrlongisland: The chief radioactive contaminant was about .4 lbs of sodium, from activated sea salt. It is pretty violently radioactive, but within two months decays away to nothing. The rest was the remains of the bombs pu and fission products, which (because of the underwater blast) didn't form a high mushroom cloud and float away on the air. That and the activated bomb casing metals rapidly sank to the bottom of the lagoon, where they remain, harmless.

  • OMG we need to get our army down there right now and find and capture these fish with there WMDs. I knew some day fish would make an uprising and attack only thing to do now is pray.

  • @masterman3178 Gay.

  • how many aquatic species in there been incinerated? hundred thousands or millions....?

  • @mazda1024: Species, probably none. The lagoon is over 500 square miles in extent, so even as a closed marine ecology most of it was unscathed. Individual fish? Probably in the tens of thousands, but the lagoon today is a prime wildlife area, teaming with fish that can't be hunted. It is also a diving mecca, with the wreckage from the blast on the lagoon floor to be explored. More fish probably die from a single tuna boat in a year, to put tuna in your sandwich

  • 2 nukes?

  • BP done more damage than this.

  • @2muchreality4u wasnt BS fault that the pipe wus theres and y u blame them the didnt blow it up.(... or did they)

  • @spare100k5 The reason it was BP's fault: They did not have the safety valve installed on the rig. If they did, there wouldn't be millions of barrels of oil in the Gulf Of Mexico right now, benzine in the air which is going to ruin the health of everyone in close prox to the coast, near future and some current water supply, death of countless sea life and so much more. All this because they wanted to save a few bucks...

  • Hawt water

  • i wonder whos gunna be the first 2 surf a nuke wave

  • In soviet russia...

  • wonder how the fishes feel

  • thats what happens when you piss chuck norris off

  • bad i mean dynamite fishing sure your a red neck but bombing fishishima thats just being a dick

  • It's like a massive zit exploding in ultra slow motion.

  • This made me think of something. Maybe a good place to be during an in-air nuclear explosion, is under water. Mythbusters showed that the higher the velocity (and size) of a bullet traveling through water, the more that object gets destroyed, and the more the underwater target is missed. So maybe if you somehow saw a nuclear explosion way off in the distance coming your way, and you're near a significantly deep body of water, you could dive down and not even be burned :)

  • @TheLonelyImmortal I'm afraid, the blast would rip apart your ear-drums, when underwater.

This is particularly ugly as underwater, it might prove lethal.

  • @BNet4ever I think you're right. Shit.

  • @TheLonelyImmortal by the time you see the explosion it's already too late.

  • @TheLonelyImmortal only to come back up and be slowly killed by radiation... i'd rather be vaporized.

  • @TheDrakenZ Do you think that the intense heat of the blast would be less painful? Being melted or burned alive, sounds pretty horrible to me.

  • @TheLonelyImmortal In the event of a nuclear bomb being dropped anywhere near you you wouldnt even have time to show a facial reaction let alone feel a "slow burning". You'd be instantly vaporized from the intense heat.

  • @TheDrakenZ Yeah I just watched a documentary about the atomic bomb being dropped on Japan in World War II, and that's just what they said. God I can't imagine that kind of power.

  • @TheLonelyImmortal yeah man it's crazy, too much power for someone to hold under their fingers with the push of a button.

  • @TheLonelyImmortal: No, you won't be burned but you'll get crushed. Underwater the pressure wave is a killer, stoving in holds and subsurface spaces on ships. The pressure wave goes farther, faster, underwater than it does in air.

  • @puncheex I don't know what "stoving in holds and subsurface spaces on ships" means, but I think you're right about the pressure wave killing me anyway.

  • That's how Crocodile Dundee gets the job done.

  • too bad Obama wasn't there to be in the middle of it before he printed all of that worthless money

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

  • Fuck obama

  • @KbAsS15025 you don't know shit about politics

  • Neither does obama

  • Chuck Norris just came.

  • @Ozzy0sbourne Suck Gnorris's just a fag!

  • so that's where tsunamis come from..

  • Have you seen the bid when they set off a nuke(test) and thought it would be 5 megatons but was 15 megatons due to a miscalculation of someone. Destroyed pretty much the whole island and the surronding ones. Someone just got fired if they survived. And all the sensors disintigrated so no info.

  • @ostomesto: Actually, that explosion mistake, as bad as it was in so many ways, was a windfall for the bomb developers. They were ready to fly fantastic appartus with refrigeration built into the bomb to maintain hydrogen as a liquid. Plans to test those bombs was immediately dropped in favor of another of the kind that caused the overage, to see if it was a fluke. It wasn't.

The fluke was the test Castle Bravo; the retest was Castle Romeo.

  • The radioactive decay essentialy diffused. It is in too small of quantities to cause any damage.

  • What happend with the radioactive decay?

  • that wave must of been a monster

  • WTF happpend to the fishies

  • sushi

  • Actually seafood. Raw vs cooked

  • How deep was the device when it was shot?

  • yeah, like candr said, except I feel he understated, a decent sized thermonuclear bomb(basically a nuke within a nuke, in which one of the nukes creates the pressure in which to compress helium atoms to the point where they fuse together to create energy) is 10-15 megatons... in other words 10,000 to 15,000 kilotons, or ONE THOUSAND times that of hiroshima. or around 2 BILLION times that of a stick of C4. basically hiroshima is a glass of water compared to the thunderstorm of the new ones.

  • Imagine surfing while this happened.

  • Tsunami

  • R.I.P fishies

  • I wonder how much video footage has not been released to us yet from all the tests. I feel there is tons more video they have they will not let us see.

I bet they have full video of the space explosions from space or with cameras that can see into the atmosphere.

  • @Phar2Rekliss: Oh, I imagine that there is little of secrecy still hidden from before, say, 1980. All teh bombs we have today come after that, and while they use techniques developed earlier, they've been leaked long since. The only reasons I know that anything before 1980 might not have been released is to avoid embarrassment of officials who may still be around. 93 of these early test films were released in 1993 thanks to Clinton; none further since.

  • if u detonated something ten times bigger like 5 x biggr than hiroshima as deep a the mariana trench wonder what effect it would make wonder

  • Probably not much. If you remember the earthquake that caused the Christmas wave was said to have the power of thousands to do the job. besodes 5 times Hiroshima device would only be about 75 KT, actually fairly small now days.

  • SUPERBURRITO <-- epic fail

  • Remind me never to swim in the ocean.

  • Remind me never to eat seafood again.

  • @SentaMentalJimmy don't forget about the Hg also.

  • lol I was just going to say "bad day to go swimming"

  • what is it ,chernobyl disaster? :D

  • history lesson: chernobyl is in ukraine....surrounded by land....this is in water

  • Not to mention Chernobyl was a melt down... not this.

  • @laslos3: The Chernobyl disaster was caused by a steam explosion with a possible nuclear excursion releasing more heat. The meltdown happened later, but the source of all the dispersed radioactives was teh steam explosion.

  • the reason why we are at peace, and a very good way to fish

  • sabre3317, the irrestistible part is, to go fishing with a nuke will deliver your fish already well done on your dish. The bad news are, your meal becomes spiced with long lived radio-nuclides.

    ;-))

  • SUPERBURRITO <-- fail

  • things like these are so awesome to watch stoned

  • It looked like it was glowing before he explotion...

  • a new way to fish

  • poor fishys

  • Thats what i call "Contamination"

  • must be hunting for a really big fish lol

  • questa è stata la bomba ke mi colpito di più. Guardate la sua forma. è spettacolare. BY MATTEO URBINATI

  • surfs up dude!

  • that was illegal fishing

  • @shakespeare3421 you would need one hell of a fishing quota for that, lol

  • @shakespeare3421 i´ts a good idee to go fishing or not?

  • Man an explosion like that.....i wonder if all these test are destroying the underwater currents not us leaving the tv on standby???

  • Ocean currents are caused by global temperature patterns. An explosion is unlikely to offset that.

  • and the moon controls them

  • If that was the Bikini Islands, I believe the wave was 90 feet tall... And the radiation to the area is virtually nil at this point, due to circulation of currents.

  • @deesrobert: The turbulence was 90 ft tall at the ships. The waves that made it to land, 6 miles away, were 6 feet high.

  • wonder if that made a big wave =]

  • Humans do nothing but kill. We gonna suffer too someday you know. Someday nature will turn on us.

  • Hey we eat too. And breathe.. And type stupid comments on YouTube.

  • Every animal for the most part kills, it's called the food chain. Without it no animal would be around. Also I think we have to fight for peace, we won't just get it.

  • well true but i would prefer small war after small war than one that would end it all with an armeggedon of some sort.

  • It must be nice to be able to wander through this existence with a world view as simple as a child's.

  • thats so true.... sigh...

  • wow, many fish died in the explosion. so sad :(

  • I love eating animals.

  • try eating a radioactive fish

  • ohhh pretty

  • can u say tsunami?

  • The fish were planning something. It was a preemptive strike.

  • Who the fuck are you? Bush?

  • "Look mummy - I made this!" on a slightly higher level....

  • No fish were harmed in the making of this film.

  • @Internesting Lies you say,lies.

  • your a human too dumbshit

  • were all gonna die, including your fucking mum, dumbshit

  • sorry i thought she was the exception

  • nah not really

  • good we deserve it

  • So long and thanks for the fish!

  • what a waste of marine life.

  • that made waves nigga

  • Seriously - dude

i have to drink that water some time in my life

    haha

  • Stupid Earth Humaaaans!

  • the fish are fucked

  • i wanna die EATIN CHEESE...

  • They should detonate loadz of these underwater to compensate for rising sea levels due to global warming.Boil the water into nothing

  • The water would evaporate and back to,ocean as rain, or the rain would happen in continent ]and back to ocean by rivers. The nuclear radiactive would kill the ecossistemes and contribute to global warming, since the absortion of co2 would be fewer, and the warming would turn polar ice into water making oceans rise more. So you said a complete nonsense.

  • Yes, when you boil water, it dissapears, Sigh.

  • is the water "hot?"

  • You're kidding, right?

  • poor fishes

  • Awesome.

  • Yeh but when you eat them expect to grow a few more limbs.. or to start glowing in the dark.

  • or if you live in reality, die painfully of cancer.

  • Redneck fishing to the extreme!!!

  • thats a lot of dead fish

  • If I had one of those I'd throw away all my rods and reels!

  • And then you eat them, and die of radiation poisoning. XP

I wonder how many 3-eyed fish there are now..

  • boom

  • i wonder how many fish died?

  • ooo thats prity cool
