I think that just amplifies it. its mystifying archetypical generosity I think (the only other example of this I can think of is these little mimicked "I love you"s you see irl or in movies sometimes, and the I love you from neon genesis evangelion in one of the alst episodes. it makes all the more conscient -how much- the punchline IS actually missing. I think its a neat idea.
of course I watched it on another video, just for another reason ;)
