I've seen them in Anaheim, CA at the Reptile Show on September 12th, 2010...their community of Chameleons are amazing...I've in fact seen the same one he's holding on the Display and people wanted to buy him but unfortunately he wasn't for sale, haha!
i love reptiles so much but i cant really have one because my grandma is horrified by them cuz shes really religious and thinks theyre the devil or some shit like that. but i want a snake like a ball python and a chameleon, i used to have a chameleon but it passed away
actually YOU are wrong. ambanjas do not have red undersides. that IS an ambilobe. ambanja are more green and blue (they are called the rainbow chameleons) ambanjas have red towards their throat, blue/green on the top of their head, and yellow/green/blue/red/white spots around their eyes. they have green/blue/red limb (including tail) and their body is primarily green (or rarely green/blue) with red or blue vertical stripes and a horizontal white stripe across their body. their spikes are blue!
I bought an ambilobe panther chameleon from a Reptile Super Show from from these breeders and he's beautiful! Looks identical to the ambilobe that James is holding! He is so healthy too and very friendly! He was worth every penny! It was my first chameleon but the care sheet that came with him along with a book on chameleons educated me to raise him well! I love him and named him Skittles (like the rainbow) lol :) I know I'm corny but the name fits how cute his personality is.
hey, i am really trying to get my name out there and simply dont have the money to ask youtube to promote my videos. would you be so kind to subscribe to me? check my videos out theyre pretty cool! i have really nice Panther chameleons with serious color!
some one pleez help me. i have a 7 month veiled and i want to train him so i can hold hom for any reason. I know your not supposed to handle them24/7 but how do i start?
easy, YOU DONT unless you want him to die early from stress! if you want a pet to play w/ or touch alot get a dog or even a parrot if you want something exotic not a cham.
Nosey Be was always my next chameleon choice, although it's been 5 years since my veiled has passed away (had him from 3 weeks old until 4 1/2 years, he passed away when we moved to a new state, he couldn't handle the stress). I'm thinking this ambilobe panther might be a nicer one. I'll have to see all the different species out there and wait more years before I'm 100% settled and ready for a new chameleon boy.
They are not a beginner's reptile but if you provide for them they arent super difficult. You do not have to handle them, and they should have a cage at least 30"x30"x48" (4 feet height)
I know him!
I bought giant madagascar chameleon

How come everyone says DO NOT HOLD CHAMELEONS yet i see many many people holding their chameleons and the chameleon seems to have no problem with it?
FaLlEn785 2 years ago
it depends if the chameleon is stressed or not but handling them isnt bad if you dont do it to much

i have a couple of questions
are these guys hard to take care of?
do you HAVE to take them out?
and how big does their cage have to be?
