@Indianmalujl yes but don't by that inpact gun, also when I did my headgaskets on my car I ended up not using any airtools at all because i did not want to mess up the aluminum threads.
I got one of those impact guns free with my compressor and noticed it was a bit gutless when I had a play with it. I opened it up and it was full of aluminium swarf and cutting compound. After a clean out and regrease/oil it ran a lot better and had a lot more power.
I'm looking at getting one of these.. But I don't want to spend more then about 150$ for a compressor.. would you reccomend me getting this one? or a larger?
will that thing actualy run the impact gun? Just curious. I dont usualy run impacts but I do have some air ratchets just curious. Would it work for homeowner use?
I went to HF to pick up that compressor one day and it was out of stock. Was gonna get it for 99 dollars too. They've since discontinued that version so I ended up getting the "upgraded" 10 Gal 2.5 HP 125PSI "upgraded" version for the same price.
- SubaruB4RSK -- OIL lubricated compressors can take a lot of beating , Mine is now set at 200 PSI 15 gallon from Wall Mart 200 $ comes with tools ...
Bright and Straton compressor and tools are very low quality but work fine. I bought Stanley air impact wrench 2 hammer design for taking off car wheels. I did not know many things about compressors when I got it , and learned on this Unit still works fine.
so I understand the impact wrench might not be the best but, How about that Air compressor? Is the Air compressor worth it? I've read only one review that it worked fine for about 200 nails and then went dead. I was wondering if you had the same problem. I'm still looking at air compressors.
I will let you know when I finally get to use it it's been about 32F every day of the week and snow for tomorrow. Check out the other video I uploaded if it filling from 0-115 psi takes about 2 min.
yep and for fun I looked at the reviews on NT and mine does the same if you get it just in the right spot the impact wont turn without help. but they rate the tool pretty high at NT which I think is a joke.
yeah man I havent used it yet but I saw another review on here and it did not do good at all.. I was going to get the earthquake model or something else from Northern Tool.
You know the funny thing is I think the CP impact Northern tool sells the same but without the label at NT.
Is this enough to take off wheels? and engine repair?

@niceprince
This size is not bad it just depends on how much air you need and how long for it to last.

I have 15 gallon tank and it is undersized for the impact air gun ...
So I changed PSI rating and it now STOPS at 200 PSI ...
and still works fine after 1 year ,,
has not been used alot 2-3 a month ...

@aviomaster
wow 200 psi I'd be worried about all the stress on the motor.

yeah the leak is at the Air compressor end of the quick connect.. I don't know if the teflon tape will help.. but I can give it a shot.
