  • i bought a mini disc sander off ebay for about 30.........its made my chicago.......harbor freight does sell it............takes 4 inch stick sanding discs you can buy anywhere......its very small perfect for your use

  • u shouldnt take safety guards off they are there for a reason

  • very nice i actually am goingt o pick one up

    how do they work?

    are they decent?

    power? is that good?

  • It works great. I use the buffer almost every day. I got it at Harbor Freight for $29. The motor is 120 VAC/ 60 Hz, 3450 rpm. Their website often shows this model sold out, but I usually see a few in the store. They have another model that is variable speed up to 10K rpm but I needed something gentler. You can see that one in this guys video (see link I added to comments) but it's way too powerful, IMHO, for working on jewelry /small delicate stuff. I didn't like the flex attachment on it.

  • @riseabuv i just bought the powerfull one for 39

it works good i like the flexible shaft i would like a reallly small one tho it would be handy

    :)

  • @animebsd Hi. I'm not sure why I'm having trouble replying. I think it ended up as a comment. But here is the link to the more powerful model you may be tempted to buy at Harbor Freight : /WR8U6T9Q0tc - YouTube Video by RimstarOrg (not letting me link here) for $39. It is cool, but crazy fast and way too powerful for working on jewelry IMHO. I like the orange $29 one because it is somewhat gentler and less likely to rip small items right out of your hands!
