I portion an amount of each check as toy money. That's after everything else. Sometimes there is no toy money. When there is I ask myself if it's the coolest thing I can do with the money. I ask if it was after too. Lemmy kilmiester said to do something if it's fun and stop the minute it isn't. It's Stupid simple but works. I'm single recently and it felt like less of a release. It wasn't a treat after making sure the gf and kid where covered. It just feels like I can get anything now. I'm just
I am a Transformers collector, and I just bought everything that I thought was cool. Recently, time, space and cash are tighter, and I had to review my spending. I looked at what I was in it for, and I realised that I was buying loads of the cheaper figures - Deluxes, etc - just for the fix and the toy would be stashed away. But, I really like the engineering and stuff, and now I concentrate on high end and complex figures. I buy less, but enjoy more. Its easier to 'complete' my collection, too.
I try and budget my spending as best I can. I'm also kind of lucky that my interest is a bit niche. I appreciate most robot toys and love a lot of them, but not all of them really speak to me and tell me to grab 'em. Most Transformers get me the fix I need, and thankfully they're not too expensive. One downside of this is that I also quite dig a lot of the TF third-party stuff, and those ARE pricey.
Adding to my last statement, collection dx crew is a great source to find out if a toy has quality, I wish I can own that max gokin Big O, by the way.
About toy collecting, I find setting a budget on the side is a great way to justify spending on thing we love. I never have enough money because there are so many great toys, but getting one here and there sometimes do complete me. Try quality over quantities theory.
37:30 Thank you same here. I like it when companys do that BEST said some car companys they put millons into making a car but only making 120 when 5,000 people have the money inhand to buy it.
Great Show again...have to agree...everyone goes through that period where ...some toys robots, cars, women etc.. things just dont do...refind your focous passion...and eliminate the clutter and just keep or get the real things that really wanted......
I can't believe anyone would actually pay $400 for that ugly-as-sin seeker knock-off. I wouldn't want it for $4.

I primarily collect Transformers. Then GIJoe, Iron Man, Gundam, and Yamaguchi series Revoltechs.
I'm on a budget. But deals seem to fall in my favor often.
I've thought about branching out into chogokins and yamato Valkyrie toys because of this show. Its a fantastic outlook on the state of mecha.

Regrets: Yamatos YF-19, YF-21, VF-11c, and VF-0S, wasn't really into them as much as I thought I would've been
