I recommend incremental exercises to build endurance. I myself use a stare-stepper.

No, I went with the older economy model, "THE STEPPER" it says on the side. I think it was made by the LEER Corporation, A Division of OGLEby Norton. I thought I had the manual for it, but I took a good long look for it, and well, I can't find it. 8^)

Yep, I actually know the equipment well enough to teach classes on its use. When teaching this, it's much easier when you have good pupils, but that goes without saying.
