  • you can tell hes very low because hes coming through fairly clear on the sound. Tower climbers know that if he was any height up he would have to yell to be heard on the ground. Even 100 feet up you have to shout pretty good to the guys on the ground.

  • That's a Trylon TSF Titan tower. Tower tops out at 96 ft. If the 7 color band striping is correct then he's at the 16 ft mark (39" face).

  • hes only 10 feet up there is a red mark ever 10 feet so yea hes faking thumbs up if u agree

  • WTF??

  • You puss, get ur butt to the top, need more head room.

  • What's with the thumbs ???? How high are you ?? Like 2ft ?? Climb up chicken haha

  • are you guys from canada?? you sound just like my friend from ontario!! :P

  • then show that fucking height damn..

  • chill thumbs broz. itz on video ☑☑☑☑☑☑☑☑☑☑☑☑☑☑☑☑☑☑☑☑☑☑☑☑☑☑☑☑☑☑☂☂☂☂☂☂☂☂☂☂☂☂☂☂☂☂☢☢☢☢☢☢☢☢ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ℃℃℃℃℃ℑ℘.so_chill;)

  • He's probably like 10 feet up the tower.

  • We are looking for experienced tower climbers like you! Please email me so we can get in touch with each other.

  • My old man use to work on radio towers and what not building them and he said he was so high up cars looked like ants :P

I can't get on my roof without feeling I am to high up.

  • If the guy recording is on the ground, he is probably 80'- 100'' off the ground. Any higher and you would be surprised how hard it is to hear. You really have to yell.

  • ya, u can climb down way faster with a 50% tie off, just dont do it the hard way, lol.

I do not need to go to the gym after i get done working on a tower, your arms and legs feel like wet noodles if its 450ft or more, lol

  • what if hes realy close to the ground but there faking?

  • elizabethpuka: Not possible. Look at the angle at which it was taken. The camera was zoomed in quite a bit, which means he was high up.

  • I've just done a refresher course for climbing towers, as I sometimes do antennae rigging. It wasnt as high as this, though.

  • @WolvoExPunk we are looking for experienced tower climbers. Get in touch with me.

  • @rtandson I've already got a job. But thanks anyway.

  • That looks like a Tritan tower.... I have never seen one painted...

  • no it's not..100% tie off means you are tied to the tower 100% of the time...double hooking during a climb. 50% means as you climb you use one safety being tied off half the time free climbing the other half.

  • great vid i love gettin high

  • this was the second tower i climbed and i have a fear of hights. I thought it was not bad .. and the wind was pretty nasty up there ..

  • @riceboy6661 right on ! Now turn that fear into excitement . . I dont have a fear of heights I just love em .

  • ya, but he was going nowhere, i climb 500 to 900 foot towers and could've been half way up that one by then. 50% tie off at all times, 100% tie off when stationary or working on something.

  • What is the difference between 50 and 100 percent tie-off?

  • 50 % is one lanyard/line (safety) attached or connected to a tower member and is supposed to be used/on at all times, even when climbing up and down. 100 % is when you have 2lines tied-off and connected, a primary and a backup/secondary line attached.

  • I see. Thank you very much for the reply.

  • correct! my preffered gear is SALA exofit

  • no it's not..100% tie off means you are tied to the tower 100% of the time...double hooking during a climb. 50% means as you climb you use one safety being tied off half the time free climbing the other half.

  • What the lanyard you are using to free hand?

  • Nice, I am a 19 lineman and climb Pylons all the time. Great video
