  • nice song

  • sound shit shit shit delete delete

  • massive attack, portishead and tricky ...

  • loveeee this song.

  • MTV 91-92

  • Heyy this was posted on my 16th Birthday haha.

  • They got some of the best melodic singers for the past 15 years.

  • such an incredible track

  • i just totally fell in love w their music :]

  • Boom chicka chick boom chicka chick.

  • mmmmm hat

  • massive! boom ... boom chicichikk boom chicichikkk :D

  • What an awesome beat!! Floooaating on air ;)

  • does anyone know if massive attack did the song of just church bells-it's very surreal sounding, mello, gets into your subconcious. let me know,

  • Which song are you talking about?

  • I wish that I would have just kept the cd. There is a song that has a very mello base that comes like it's in waves with church bells methodically tolling during the whole song. Do you recognize it? Sorry I'm trying to be descriptive.

  • @RedWillyandFugi Are you thinking of "Mambo" by Wally Badarou from his album "Echoes"?

  • @mdickman No, that's not the one but thank you for introducing me to Badarou. The band I am trying to find the song on sounds similar to the group "Air". I appreciate you trying to help!! If that gives you any ideas let me know!

  • @RedWillyandFugi

That sounds like Special Cases by Massive Attack

  • @RedWillyandFugi Angel?

  • Touch it like cocoa? what does that mean?

I love this song but I am determined to find out what the hell that means!

  • hmm maybe with some much passion :P coz cocoa rocks !

  • @Varibyss13

Let us know if ever you find out!

  • It's fairly simple. Touch something like you would cocoa. You think it's going to be tasty cause in your mind, your thinking chocolate, but it's really quite bitter, so theres this sort of feeling of dissapointment, yet at the same time, such excitement beforehand.

    Or thats just me

  • @dano555666 dont forget the lime ;-)

  • What a great beat!

  • Brings back so many good memories of better times...When life seemed less complicated.

  • juuust wait as soon as i get alot better at making songs i can be this good

  • the best kind of "rap"

  • @kittywaffle42 massive attack isnt "rap" its "trip hop"

  • @angieeeeee789

regardless there's someone 'rapping' on it.

  • One of my favorite songs! Just amazing in every way. To bad you don't make songs like this anymore.

  • they used to call him tricky kid,he lived the life they wish they did.he lived the life to own a car,and now they call him superstar........

  • massive

  • i quietly observe standing in my space..

    what a track.

  • the girl is sexy!!!

  • awesome beat, love this tune. Keep all your ignorant comments off this page guys.

  • you said it!! what is the track version that came out in the 80's please?? if you know tell me!! peace!

  • this is a remix of "mambo", a song of wally badarou (album "echoes", 1985).

    ;)

  • man i get the feeling that this song i warm,

  • i heard this song in the coffee shop, when i was really fucked up. i spaced on this song i didn`t know the song, so asked who it was and now i find it and i only like this song from this group.

  • pretty hermetic & psychedelic

  • i quietly observe standing in my space...daydreaming.....

way that we say 'em in style that we write them in massive attack we keep it strong just like vitamin, going for the positive wiping out the negative songs cuz brother is relative, the boss is picking all the liricks from the dance floor to raise your spirit level...cuz it demands more.....

  • Remember seeing this back in the mid 90´s must admit didnt like it back then but for some reason it did catch my attention. Now im a "massive" fan, he, he

  • that kind of stuff happens to me too. its probably they way a brain matures and appreciates different things.

  • @mutedisease I know what you mean I feel the same way. When we first saw this in the 90s it was different but we didn't think much of it. But now with all the crappy music out there we appreciate this type of music more now than when it came out.

  • Beautiful

  • what an album from MA ..absolute brilliant!!! love this tune while i drive...

  • .....cool.....!!!!!

  • MASSIVE

  • <3 <3 <3

  • Youtube quality does this song absolutely no justice. sounds and looks like shit... this is one of those songs that shouldnt be sized down to save space. Meanwhile theres hundreds of High School Musical clips filling my recommended links @_@

  • @Childhoods3nd its like you dont realise music clips on youtube is basically illegal

  • @Childhoods3nd you are a complete cunt - pull your stupid cock in the toilet and don't wipe it on the towel, Cunt - get fucked

  • @Childhoods3nd Just be grateful it's not 8-bit. That sounds like shit being grated in a woodchipper.

  • @Childhoods3nd it wouldn't be the issue of youtube only. It has to do with the video owner himself. Loads of people just don't see/hear the difference.

  • @Childhoods3nd its only recommended if you watch things like high school musical etc hahaha

  • i always play massive attack when im on long journeys driving by myself speeding my tits off you just can,t beat it,try it sometime

  • well yea, this was released in 1991

    u didnt get my question

  • Sexo ;

  • thanks, just cause i don't like the song doesn't mean im a goldfish, so suck up your feelings towards people. and btw i've got a goldfish, and he may even be smarter than you, mr. Antistupidity, get a sense of humor eh?

  • A minute and a half? Damn, I think you beat the attention span of a goldfish.

    I'm impressed.

    cheerin

  • 8K rig, as in 8000 watts

  • ha ha, thanks mate makes sense now

  • Sweet!

  • What about the meaning of this same expression on Mezzanine?? (the 8k thuds it does.)

  • it is reference to the sound system used at underground parties. Before they were massive attack they were part of a collective called the "wild Bunch", they used to organize warehouse parties etc.

  • lol if i was a rich man, da da dada

  • This song not be in Collected! Why?!

  • I am hypnotized by this one

  • Tennessee, Tennessee,

    Oh, wrong video.

  • amo ésta canción,....

  • Can't believe this song is nearly twenty years old! Blue Lines is one of my favourite albums..British rappers found credibility hard back then..at least they were trying to be true to their roots and didn't adopt false American style rap accents! Respect - up the UK massive!

  • do you know when it was released? In the early 90ies?

  • 6th August 1991 making it seventeen years old in August this year

  • oh yes, it was really quite progressive for that time. And it sounds still very fresh:-)
