Why am i so sure you ask? Bc ive been running track for 15 plus years...and can tell how fast something is moving over the distance they travel. as most of the top college track runners run 100 meters in low 10's and you already now meters are longer than yards right?
@lifesgamble1 Ever since he was about 10 weeks old, I would take him in an open field and attach a lead sled to him to enhance his endurance, speed and strength. I also feed him 6 small meals a day, and 1 protein enhanced meal every day after his workout.

Hate to disillusion you but that is 28 seconds for 400 yards even if he maintained that speed and did not slow down.
Any Greyhound at my local track would not be able to race if it ran that slow as it is three sends (! ) outside the grading in times!

Ok some calculations for people:
100 yards = 91.44 meters
91.44 meters = 7 seconds 91.44 meters : 7 = 13 meters per second
13 x 3600 = 46 800 meters per hour
46 800 m/h = 46,8 km/h
And thas the answer!
Answer: 46 km/h ...Thats fast, now everyone back to 5 grade and re-learn mats.

By the way, nice dog :D. My dog is staffy/ridgeback and can run around as fast as that. Little dogs are so fast :D.

My dog is a parson jack russel cross and he can run nearly that fast! Lol me and my friend raced our dogs over like 2 fields and her dog is a grey hound and my dog out ran her dog easily! I was so.. Shocked! :) i love my dog! :)

when ever he escapes from the back yard, it takes like 3 hours trying to catch him.he makes too many turns.sharp,hard,...painful....horrible.....turns.

the dog can run (rounded) 90m in 7 seconds, and you want to know how many metres he can run in 1 hour - which is 3600 seconds.
so you want to scale up 90m in 7s to ?m in 3600s
divide 3600 by 7 = 514.2857, then times this by the 90m
= 46285.71 to give the metres he can run in 1 hour.
now simply divide that by 1650 (metres in a mile) to give mph
= 28.05195

@Jimboslice2310 you used miles. this is meters right noe. so you would divide 100 meters by 7 seconds. then i forgot the rest. but you put into miles. you probally divided 100 miles by 7 seconds. its 100 METERS not miles.

i used to have 2 greyhounds named lady and allie they were such good dogs and most of all friends they died 3 and 4 years ago of bone cancer...i got them from the Philadelphia greyhound rescue...so please when u wanna get a dog think about the life u can be saving in a rescue or a pound

@Tunknatar the average football player can not run 100 yards in 10 seconds...and even if they did thats still slow as hell. That dog is moving pretty damn fast i would give it the 7 seconds or more. Why am i so sure you ask? Bc ive been running track for 15 plus years...and can tell how fast something is moving over the distance they travel. as most of the top college track runners run 100 meters in low 10's and you already now meters are longer than yards right?

@lifesgamble1 Ever since he was about 10 weeks old, I would take him in an open field and attach a lead sled to him to enhance his endurance, speed and strength. I also feed him 6 small meals a day, and 1 protein enhanced meal every day after his workout.

@tmister534 i'm surprised you managed to tie a sled to this dog without the dog "breaking". Italians are fragile and the ones i've met have been so fragile that they would break their own legs from running as puppies! :S Call the Guiness World Record, that'd be very cool :P
