Even the world's fastest accelerating cars (according to wikipedia) such as the Ariel Atom and the Bugatti Veyron can't do a quarter mile in under 10 seconds like most 1000cc sport bikes. No matter how you modify your car, you can't match the acceleration of a fast motorcycle. Unless you attach rocket engines to your car, lol. Light and powerful will always accelerate faster than heavy and powerful.

@DigiBiker11 if you can't find a car that will do 1/4 mile in under 10. then you have been living under a stone for the last decade! there are vipers, mustangs, supras, hell even civics who have done the 1/4 mile in under 10. one point is true though, youll have to search a long time before you find something acceleration faster than a turbo zzr14 og a turbo busa. but keep in mind, where there is a fast bike theres allways a fast car right next to it.

What I meant to say was that pretty much no unmodified car can do a quarter mile in less than 10 seconds, whereas nearly all 1000cc (and over) unmodified sports bikes can easily do a quarter mile in under 10 seconds. Of course you can modify a car to make it accelerate faster, but you can also modify a motorcycle to make it accelerate even faster. You have a nice day too :)

@highwood18 ha.. it depends on your experience, start with the yamaha-r6 or gsx-r600 to get the light playful feel, then move on up to 750, then 1000, the higher the cc the higher the weight, the harder the handling.
