Jonathan Yudkin's fiddle work is very smooth -- well blended behind vocals, solo ramps up and back down nicely.
He was also credited for violin on Kathy Mattea's "Lonesome Standard Time." Wish I could find a live or studio performance of that to see his fingering after the "crying fiddle" lyric.

I heard REK jr. many times back about '77 / '78. I would be walking down Boyette and hear the music playing on the Church street front porch- did they ever go to class? Or to the 'Chicken' for that matter.....
