I pretty much agree with this list except Godfather Part III...It should have been farther down. Other than that. Look at the movies that Al Pacino has been apart of and you will know he was a good actor. Look at the actors he got to star with and you will know he is a great actor. Watch a film with him in it and you will see that he is maybe the best actor of all time.
Most people still don't realize that his movies speechs reflects the ILLUMINATI agenda and their conspiracy to achieve the altimate goal ; THE NEW WORLD ORDER. you don't have to believe it or agree. the truth is the truth. The War history that still running on the making is in fact a movie directed by the illuminati. includding 9/11 and many other false flags. such as Peal harbor vietnam ETC. behind the scenes that make blood deals. NOW their own people are exposing them. UFO & Illuminati shit.

@RockAustinDXtakerRk0 I think it's one of those films that you either love or hate; I don't think I've ever heard someone describe Scarface as "okay" or "all right". I didn't like it ehen I first saw it, but it grew on me over time.
@TimsVideos17 True. I didn't like it the first and only time I saw it, which was only about 9-10 months ago. So not very long, but I do sometimes feel the crave to watch it again for some reason...So you may very well be right; it's a movie that grows over you in time.
Ok. Scent of a Woman must be in the top 5 and also, what about Scarecrow. I bet you don't even know that movie. Before you make a vid for his top films, know your shit

I saw Al Pacino one night in person recently. He gives me understanding of what it is like to play all his roles in his movies. He is a solid guy and the greatest actor in my opinion. Cannot wait to see his new movie with Robert DeNiro. Best night of my life was seeing him. :) I am going to watch his first movie he did tonight. The Panic in the Needle Park.
happy friggin birthday to the shiniest beam of hope from the darkest corner of the world Iran,we too will fight inch by inch for our birthright,or we'll go dowwwn tryin,we salute u
scent of a women has to be one of his greatest roles, i feel the acting in that by him was better then any acting in any other film, it had so much meaning that we can all take away from seeing it
Everyone always praises Scarface, but there are so many other movies with amazing story and great acting......overall far superior films to Scarface.
Dog Day Afternoon, Any Given Sunday, The Devil's Advocate, Serpico, Heat, Insomnia, Dick Tracy, Scent Of A Woman, Merchant Of Venice, Chinese Coffee...
Just saying, look for other films with Pacino. He's a great actor. Don't simply settle for a blood n' guts film.

scarecrow, author author, frankie and johnny, cruising, the local stigmatic, the merchant of venice, and justice for all, you don't know jack, carlito's way, the people I know, sea of love, looking for richard, glengarry glen ross, the godfather movies, and the panic in needle park, dick tracy
1.Dog Day Afternoon 2.Godfather II 3.Serpico 4.Panic in Needle Park 5.Scarecrow 6.Godfather 7.Angels in America 8. The Insider 9.Donnie Brasco 10.Sea of Love 10.5. You Don't Know Jack 11.Frankie and johnny 12.Merchant of Venice 13.Scent of a Woman 14.Scarface 15.Carlito's Way 16.Dick Tracy 17.Arthur! Arthur! 18.Bobby Deerfield 19.Devil's Advocate 20.Cruising
Scarface was a fun movie. Maybe even a modern classic. As far as an individual performance it was not one his best. Not to sound pretentious and lame but if we're talking about acting and it's nuances and subtleties, Tony Montana was a bit over the top. Almost operatic -Pacino's even said this- in it's broadness. The movie is hailed by the hip hop community because of his fast rise to the top and penchant for wanton violence(FUN!FUN!) But as far as movies go it's just a guilty pleasure.
The movie itself is good. @VitoAndoliniCarlayun lol I reckon there must be a bunch of guys out there that can recite Scarface word for word. People say it might be a waste of time and money, like say 12% of our adjusted growth which isn't peanuts, but I don' give a fuck, makes me sleep at night :)
@tryandlisten i might get my as kicked for that but glengarry glenross whas not such a great movie in my opinion... although it had one of the best quotes ever: You never open your mouth till you know what the shot is.
@ReaktorLucar Glengarry glenross IMO was a brilliant film for the acting, but agreed was not everyone's favourite film. I reckon Pacinos worst movie ever? Cruising.
@tryandlisten never said something against the acting. that whas world class. but the story is kind of lame kompared to the actors and the acting skill don´t you think? it feels like an eternity till something happens.
@ReaktorLucar Glengarry Glenross was based on a popular play, it really appeals to a specific audience, not to everyone's liking. That's what makes Pacino so brilliant, his ability to play such a wide range of characters. Look at Scarecrow and Sea of Love, really diverse films
@tryandlisten so we both think that pacino is one hell of an actor? =D
I would say he shares his place with De Niro. i´m neither saying that Pacino barely reaches De Niros skill nor in opposit direction. they just add up to the top of the tops.
@ReaktorLucar I'd say many many people would agree. De Niro is good but I gotta say I wonder why he did those 'Fockers' movies, I haven't seen him do anything good recently, shame for such a brilliant actor to do those kinds of low-brow comedies
@tryandlisten dustin hoffman and de niro xP it worked well in "wake the dog" ^^. i have to admit that i laughed a lot in the fockers I II and III. just the fakt of having "jimmy" alias "Ace" aka neil mccauley" in such a low level comedy made me laugh. so i didn´t laugh at him i laughed about the situation. aproaching this movie with this point of view helped me to get the joke. and every de niro smile and frown made the movie worth watching again =)
Great video Michael Agnello. Very nicely done!!!

@VitoAndoliniCarlayun lol I reckon there must be a bunch of guys out there that can recite Scarface word for word. People say it might be a waste of time and money, like say 12% of our adjusted growth which isn't peanuts, but I don' give a fuck, makes me sleep at night :)

@ReaktorLucar and sorry you forgot Glengarry Glenross
tryandlisten 10 months ago
@tryandlisten i might get my as kicked for that but glengarry glenross whas not such a great movie in my opinion... although it had one of the best quotes ever: You never open your mouth till you know what the shot is.

@ReaktorLucar Glengarry glenross IMO was a brilliant film for the acting, but agreed was not everyone's favourite film. I reckon Pacinos worst movie ever? Cruising.
tryandlisten 10 months ago
@tryandlisten never said something against the acting. that whas world class. but the story is kind of lame kompared to the actors and the acting skill don´t you think? it feels like an eternity till something happens.

@ReaktorLucar Glengarry Glenross was based on a popular play, it really appeals to a specific audience, not to everyone's liking. That's what makes Pacino so brilliant, his ability to play such a wide range of characters. Look at Scarecrow and Sea of Love, really diverse films

@tryandlisten so we both think that pacino is one hell of an actor? =D
I would say he shares his place with De Niro. i´m neither saying that Pacino barely reaches De Niros skill nor in opposit direction. they just add up to the top of the tops.
hope my point is clear =)
