This is not being read from the King James. You have the King James on the screen (which is kinda tough to make out) but you are reading from something different.
It's only 'natural' to try to help someone understand but how about giving the Holy Spirit some credit here. After all, "the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."
Yes, but the teachers don't bring understanding. The Holy Spirit does only when someone is willing to open their heart to the truth. Don't presume to do the work of God's Holy Spirit. Even Jesus yielded credit to the Spirit when he spoke with Nicodemus in John 3. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
The companion Bible is more accurate than the king James,yes?

yes The companion Bible is better translated, and helps you follow subject, object, and location, while reading...excelent tool.
