Just a question, what would you have done if he Void Ray rushed you? Generally, when I am playing vs. Protoss I am worried about a quick void ray and it didn't seem like you had enough recon to be prepared for it.
@CitricAcid13 Void Ray rush is fun to deal with. If protoss is blocking their base off very well and I can't get in I'll have to assume they are going air, or DT. The solution for both of these is two well placed Spore Crawlers in your base. The two of them with your queen should be able to handle a phoenix rush, or a warpray rush. If they have two warp rays I'll start building another queen right when I see them come in (they almost always focus down your queen first)
@CitricAcid13 Warp Ray rush is kinda silly as Zerg. You really have to work hard if you are caught with your pants down. Building an extra queen can help keep you alive while you get your spore's up and try to transfuse (if you have the energy). 2 (3 if you have an expansion) Queens and 2 well placed Spores will help keep you alive until you have your hydras pumping.
