Downie was the one player I really wish the Flyers still had. He wasn't trying to "hurt" Crosby he was just trying to bring him down to the ice, make sure he couldn't get involved. Obviously it was awkward fall. That happens. Downie is always trying to make something happen, don't hate on Downie. Hockey would be 1000X better if there were more Downie's then Crosby's

Like it or not Crosby piles up the accolades and accomplishments, unfortunately his first year in hockey earned him criticism that comes with all great players with great expectations.
He is by far the most complete, and valuable player on any team (barring goaltenders), and for all the people who say they dislike him, would gladly trade a third of their team to get a player like him who can carry a team.
This is my opinion. Flame on!

And no, it's not just because I'm a Flyers fan, it's because the Flyers are a balanced team and that's how it should be. Not one person carrying the entire team. GhostWalker is my new hero. He always has good points that you can't even argue. People that have anything against Sid are jealous and they don't watch him enough. I watch or go to every game and I can't imagine anyone meaning as much to his team as Sid does. I just hope he doesn't get shafted in the MVP voting. I'm so thankful every game that the Pens got Sid with a 6.25% chance during the lottery draft.

Not much, but a little. And I don't take any of his skill credit away from him. He's definitely a great player and he's hall of fame bound without a doubt.
