I like all the chefs, but Michiba, Sakai and Kenichi are my all time favorites. =)

And I like Iron Chef America, but the original is 10000000000x better! The Iron Chefs were better, the judges were better and the Chairman was AWESOME! And the battles were EPIC! Especially those blood feud battles where a faction kept sending chefs against one Iron Chef until they beat him like they did with Morimoto. FUCKING AMAZING!

@xanos4225 Well, in Japan, it was about the chef defending his or her honor. I mean, when Nakamura wasn't doing so well, his family refused to speak to him. So yea, it was a REALLY big deal. Here, it's like,"Eh, whatever. I'm gonna kick your ass." This is why the American version will NEVER touch the Japanese version.

When Iron Chef was first dubbed in English in America, the Morimoto-era eps were shown first. When Food Network decided to show the earlier episodes, they changed the credit sequence to replace Morimoto with Michiba (and later Nakamura), but decided it was too much effort to rework the montage footage. (It should be pointed out that the montage footage was part of the English dub package and never used in the original Japanese episodes.)

He sucks ass, and he THINKS he's better than he actually is and he has an arrogant ass attitude. This show is the best. Food Network took it off because they knew if they put it up next to the original, it would fail.
