I consider Halloween (1978) - Resurrection (including 3,4,5,6) the canon movies in the series, Halloween (2007) and Halloween II (2009) are non-canon and never happened
@TheTaylorJohnson1 dude, Halloween (2007) and Halloween 2 (2009) were REMAKES. they were NEVER canon to the originals because they're remakes. imo the canon halloween movies are Halloween (1978), Halloween 2 (1981), and Halloween H20 (1998). the other movies (especially Ressurrection) never happened.
@mcdonaldsImLovinIt2 I know that, though I say they never happened even in that continuity they didn't happen EVER. The reason I consider 3 canon, is cuz Michael is "dead" at the time and took place on a different Halloween night, and my brother and I are good at putting the events and fixing the plot holes of 4,5, and 6 (thats just our view of the series though) and we consider them canon as well

@deidara0430 The reason Jason has more kills is because he has more movies. The first 8 Friday the 13th movies came out in a span of a decade. A Friday the 13th movie would come out almost every year in the 80s just like how a Saw movie came out each year from 2004-2010. Plus, Jason's movies were about blood and bodycount. But just because Jason has more kills doesn't mean he'll beat Michael.

In the real world, Freddy was just a regular person who could die, but Jason had a hard time trying to kill him because Freddy was smart. So Michael's intelligence is a huge advantage because he can easily outsmart Jason and possibly get the win.

@deidara0430 Jason was killed by Tommy Jarvis in Part 4. Jason died while chained to the bottom of Crystal Lake in Part 6. He was killed by Tina's zombie dad in Part 7. Jason was killed by toxic waste in Part 8. That android chick blew his head off in Part 10. Those people that killed him weren't his family members, but they still killed him. In FvJ, Freddy kept getting distracted, that's why he wasn't able to beat Jason. Intelligence is a huge factor in surviving.

@deidara0430 The comics aren't canon to the films. Freddy vs Jason vs Ash isn't part of the film canon. Jason Goes To Hell was leading towards just FvJ, not a whole new series of FvJ films. They were just planning on making one FvJ film. The FvJvA comics were made just for fans that wanted more. They probably won't make a movie out of it. If the thing in Jason Goes To Hell is legit, then how come Jason couldn't possess bodies before? Jason was NOT a deadite in his original films.

@deidara0430 Halloween H20 ignored the Curse of Thorn storyline. Even though the curse was ignored, it was put into the film canon, making it legit based on which continuity you decide to follow. But as for the Jason/Deadite stuff, that was only in the comics. It's not legit. Not everyone reads the comics. And Jason DOES DIE. Have you even seen any of the original Friday the 13th movies? He dies, but he comes back because someone always brings him back to life on accident.

@deidara0430 He's been brought back to life MORE THAN ONCE. Parts 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and FvJ. Plus, Jason in part 9 was a whole change in the character. That's not the Jason we were familiar with from the original 8 Friday films. First he was just a psycho slasher, then he was a zombie (which makes sense since he was brought back to life), and then now all of a sudden he's a demon that can possess people? That is just complete bullshit, that's not Jason. New Line ruined the character.

@deidara0430 Do you even pay attention to the movies? Jason was officially dead in part 4. He was brought back from the dead in part 6 and in each film afterwards. He dies but is revived by someone either on accident or on purpose (Freddy). Jason Goes To Hell was made to pit Freddy against Jason. It might have had the sequal with Ash, but if the comic wasn't made into an actual film, then it isn't official.

And Lori was a huge part of the outcome of FvJ. Had she not distracted Freddy, Jason would've never been able to get a cheap shot at Freddy. Plus, Freddy had both weapons. Had she not distracted him, who knows what Freddy could've done to Jason. Could've decapitated him, who knows.
@mcdonaldsImLovinIt2 -continue- or not. and the likelihood of freddy ending up on top in that fight whether or not he was interupted is extremely low.. jason has MUCH higher stamina and would not have died that easily by freddy. freddy was panting and tired and getting sore just from slashing and hitting him for like 5 minutes..while jason kept getting up unscathed and seemingly unaffected, eventually freddy would have to take a 3 second breather and then jason would take his chance and beat him

@deidara0430 Lori was the reason why Jason was able to shove his fist into Freddy's stomach and rip his arm off. If she wasn't there, Freddy could've finished Jason since he had both weapons. And didn't Jason fall from exhaustion first? When Jason fell into the lake, that indicated that Jason was badly damaged and couldn't do much afterwards. Of course he got one good shot on Freddy with Freddy's arm, but that was behind Freddy's back. Face it, Lori is the reason Freddy didn't win.

@deidara0430 They weren't wrestling, Freddy stabbed Jason with his glove and left it in Jason's chest. Yes, both of them blew up and guess who was able to make it back on the docks with no problem. Freddy showed that he still had something left, until Jason cheaply got him from behind and collapses back into the lake. That obviously showed that Jason was more tired and exhausted than Freddy was. Lori saved Jason, she even spared him at the end.
@mcdonaldsImLovinIt2 freddy has a tolerance to fire.. do u ever see him dieing from explosions or fire? nope. so he has a tolerance to it. clearly explosions are jasons weakness. so jason became more exhausted as a result of the explosion, nothing else, since jason ended up ripping his arm off and punching a hole into freddy's side. that proved that he still had a significant amount of energy left to do a lot of damage, regardless of lori's "cheap" intervening of the fight. the explosion screwed
@deidara0430 Actually Freddy has died from fire/explosions. He was burned alive before he became what he is today. In Freddy's Dead, he was blown to bits. You would think that the explosion Lori caused would've affected him more than it did Jason. But Freddy proved he still had enough power to make it back onto the docks and try to kill Lori and Will, that is until Jason cheaply got him from behind. We can argue on and on, but fact is that neither of them won the fight.

@deidara0430 For the millionth time, THE COMICS AREN'T OFFICIAL. When Freddy winked at the end, it indicated that Jason was dreaming because DECAPITATED HEADS DON'T WINK IN THE REAL WORLD. Jason didn't win. Freddy didn't win either. The makers of the film left the ending ambiguous so that both sets of fans wouldn't be mad. I don't care if you're a Jason fanboy or a Freddy fanboy, the official result of the fight is a DRAW.

@mcdonaldsImLovinIt2 based off of what i have seen in the comics that include ash, it seems like a MUCH more solid storyline, what would the storyline be if myers was there? freddy brought him back to life too? it wouldnt make sense, and if they managed to actually make it work there wouldnt be a good storyline to make more movies, whereas having Ash, would have. go read all of the comics, the storyline for that is awesome, freddy tries to rule the world with the book, its a good storyline

The reason I consider 3 canon, is cuz Michael is "dead" at the time and took place on a different Halloween night, and my brother and I are good at putting the events and fixing the plot holes of 4,5, and 6 (thats just our view of the series though) and we consider them canon as well

A Friday the 13th movie would come out almost every year in the 80s just like how a Saw movie came out each year from 2004-2010. Plus, Jason's movies were about blood and bodycount. But just because Jason has more kills doesn't mean he'll beat Michael.

And didn't Jason fall from exhaustion first? When Jason fell into the lake, that indicated that Jason was badly damaged and couldn't do much afterwards. Of course he got one good shot on Freddy with Freddy's arm, but that was behind Freddy's back. Face it, Lori is the reason Freddy didn't win.

@mcdonaldsImLovinIt2 u act like jason was on his knees about to get executed.. jason would blocking and stuggling with him.. eventually he would have pushed freddy away and probably hit him hard and freddy would be so tired from hitting and stabbing for 20 minutes that all jason would have to do is get ANY weapon, mind you, and he could finish freddy with just ONE could stab or hit.. jason didnt show any signs of exhaustion or indication that he was stopping, freddy would get too tired and die

@deidara0430 Jason didn't show any signs of stopping? Then why did he fall into the lake after he stabbed Freddy with the arm? If he didn't show signs of stopping, shouldn't he have gone and killed Lori and Will? No, he was exhausted and severly damaged. That's why he well into the lake and did nothing afterwards. Jason did block, but Freddy had the weapons. Freddy could've finished Jason right there, but Lori's distraction allowed Jason to get the cheap shot on Freddy.

@mcdonaldsImLovinIt2 u think that Lori's "cheapshots" saved jason SOOO much.. u seem to forget who ended up getting blown up when she threw the torch.. BOTH of them blew up.. thats why jason stopped, he was getting stabbed and slashed and was in a somewhat vulnerable stage and then freddy stuck the machete in jasons chest and jason blew up.. it was ALL of that which made jason stop.. but i was saying that before she blew them up jason was still going and would have overpowered freddy and got the

@deidara0430 They weren't wrestling, Freddy stabbed Jason with his glove and left it in Jason's chest. Yes, both of them blew up and guess who was able to make it back on the docks with no problem. Freddy showed that he still had something left, until Jason cheaply got him from behind and collapses back into the lake. That obviously showed that Jason was more tired and exhausted than Freddy was. Lori saved Jason, she even spared him at the end.

@mcdonaldsImLovinIt2 freddy has a tolerance to fire.. do u ever see him dieing from explosions or fire? nope. so he has a tolerance to it. clearly explosions are jasons weakness. so jason became more exhausted as a result of the explosion, nothing else, since jason ended up ripping his arm off and punching a hole into freddy's side. that proved that he still had a significant amount of energy left to do a lot of damage, regardless of lori's "cheap" intervening of the fight. the explosion screwed

@deidara0430 Actually Freddy has died from fire/explosions. He was burned alive before he became what he is today. In Freddy's Dead, he was blown to bits. You would think that the explosion Lori caused would've affected him more than it did Jason. But Freddy proved he still had enough power to make it back onto the docks and try to kill Lori and Will, that is until Jason cheaply got him from behind. We can argue on and on, but fact is that neither of them won the fight.

@mcdonaldsImLovinIt2 no the FACT of which u speak is that freddy ends up without a body, weapon and, to be frank, dead. THOSE are the facts the whole deadite thing with jason, FACT, jason leaves the lake with freddys head as a souvenir, FACT. there could be speculation that is what cheap shots and unfair and not about of the canon or whatever, but since u mentioned facts, i will too. jason has his entire body intact and a weapon and can walk, freddy cant.

@deidara0430 Speaking of facts, you're forgetting the huge fact that the ending scene in the lake takes place in a DREAM. And how does your facts support the theory of Jason being a deadite? Jason does have his entire body intact but that doesn't mean he is a deadite. It doesn't mean that he won either. Jason has been in more explosions than Freddy has so shouldn't he be less affected than Freddy was? Plus, Freddy is alive in the dream world. Neither of them won.

"Ooo this will freak jason out.. im going to pretend my head is off and when he carries it out im going to talk to him and wink at him! Ooo what a good idea! that will scare him!" jason won..

@deidara0430 For the millionth time, THE COMICS AREN'T OFFICIAL. When Freddy winked at the end, it indicated that Jason was dreaming because DECAPITATED HEADS DON'T WINK IN THE REAL WORLD. Jason didn't win. Freddy didn't win either. The makers of the film left the ending ambiguous so that both sets of fans wouldn't be mad. I don't care if you're a Jason fanboy or a Freddy fanboy, the official result of the fight is a DRAW.

@mcdonaldsImLovinIt2 they admitted that they were going to base the next freddy vs jason movies after the comics and would include bruce campbell... the ONLY reason they didnt was because campbell didnt want to do it.. not because they thought the story would have been dumb, or cheap, or stupid, but ONLY because bruce didnt want to.
the wink indicated that there would be a sequel and freddy was still up to no good. since it indicated there was a sequel, that proves the comics were going to be

@deidara0430 There could've been a sequal, but I don't see the sequal being FvJvA. If the comics were made into actual films, I would accept them as canon/official. But they weren't and probably won't be, so as of now they are not canon and they are just unofficial works. The wink at the end indicates many things, like a possibility of a sequal, but it could also be interpreted as a final thank you to the fans since FvJ was the last film to feature Robert Englund as Freddy.

@mcdonaldsImLovinIt2 dude i have read websites and quotes and interviews from the creators of Freddy Vs Jason and the opinions and the details. robert and ken kirzinger and bruce campbell were going to be in the new one, the creators said that it was going to be official but it never happened because campbell backed out. thats the reason. u can look it up if u want to. its not like some random nerd made the comic series and im just going off of the creation of that. the creators acknowledged it

@deidara0430 Here's what you're not getting from my comment: If the comics WERE made into actual films, then I would accept them as official. But they WEREN'T so they're unofficial. And there has been talks about a sequal, but the sequal could feature any other horror icon, like Michael Myers. I don't see the sequal being FvJvA because people would be more interested in a FvJvM or FvJvL. Most likely there WON'T be a sequal, seeing as how both franchises have been rebooted.

Do you consider the Jason vs Leatherface comic official? Look, all I'm saying is that comics are unofficial, and if there was going to be a sequal to FvJ (which most likely won't happen) people would be way more interested if Michael Myers was added into the mix than if Ash was.

Are you saying whatever you read in the comics are official to the actual movies? What if they made a comic where Jason has a pet unicorn and slays midgets in an enchanted forest right in the middle of Freddy's ass, would you consider that official? If there's a comic where Jason learns how to fly, would you consider that official?

@mcdonaldsImLovinIt2 yes i would consider those official if the creators said they were right about to do a movie based off of the comic book stories.. and theres proof that they were going to do the next couple of movies because in jason goes to hell it shows the undead book thing and jason was a deadite summoned from that book, and that book was from Evil Dead with ash, so thats proof enough that the comic book was ligitimate and they were going to base it off that.

What if there was was a comic where Jason has the ability to shoot fire out of his ass and he falls in love with a giant celery, would you consider that official? And if they did make a sequal to FvJ, which would you rather see: Freddy vs Jason vs Ash OR Freddy vs Jason vs Michael?

@mcdonaldsImLovinIt2 based off of what i have seen in the comics that include ash, it seems like a MUCH more solid storyline, what would the storyline be if myers was there? freddy brought him back to life too? it wouldnt make sense, and if they managed to actually make it work there wouldnt be a good storyline to make more movies, whereas having Ash, would have. go read all of the comics, the storyline for that is awesome, freddy tries to rule the world with the book, its a good storyline

If you ask anyone what other horror icon they would like to see in a sequal to FvJ, more people would probably say Myers. Freddy, Jason, and Michael are the faces of slasher films. People would be more interested in seeing an FvJvM rather than seeing an FvJvA.

@mcdonaldsImLovinIt2 -continue- screwed jason up more then it ended up screwing freddy up.. its not like freddy had jason on his knees and was about to cut his head off and it was a done deal that freddy would have won.. there is still major evidence indicating that jason was still able to fight and would have kept evading attacks, she didnt save his life, if anything she "ended" it. because it was the explosion that ended up making jason faint and fall back into the lake. so she did more harm

And in Nightmare on Elm Street, Nancy is watching The Evil Dead on TV, which makes Ash a fictional character in the Freddy Krueger universe, so how would FvJvA work? The comics are unofficial. And again, argue all you want, but Jason CAN be killed by anyone or anything.

People can get hit by cars and still survive. Especially if they're super strong like Michael Myers. As for the eyes I can't explain, that was just stupid though. I don't know why they put that in the movie. In all the other movies his eyes are back.

I don't remember that. If it was Halloween 4 or 5 then I can't remember because it's been so long since I've seen those two. But if you're talking about H20 then that wasn't him, that was one of the medics in his mask.
